I'm glad you've answered your own question. Look, pork rinds!

Pork rinds are tasty. You leave them the hell out of this. What did they ever do to you?

The only reason that an agent will pull this shite and rat out another agent and a NFL football factory is that he is done and pissed and wants blood, and believes that someone an asst coach steered his prize to another agency. He is done the other agency is done and Bama is in trouble, MAD at its finest

For anything to happen, the NCAA will have to prove that Alabama was aware of Fluker taking improper benefits to show a “lack of institutional control.” Nowhere in the Yahoo report was it alleged that the University was aware of Fluker taking money, and the agencies that provided the benefits are in no way connected to the university.

I'm sure everybody would like to see Alabama vacate wins or titles....but the NCAA would have to get everyone involved to talk. Luther Davis is not a booster, DJ Fluker is now in the NFL and no longer under LOI. They no longer have access to his bank account and can't subpoena records. They can't make anyone do any thing because NCAA is not a court of law. The NCAA can only work with Alabama's compliance office, and if they found no wrong doing within the school, how can they vacate wins or championships ? Luther Davis will not admit to committing a felony to the NCAA.

It's gonna be so bad, it's gonna be good.

Not very. The NCAA embarrassed itself trying to nail Miami. They're likely to end up paying Todd McNair for the way they went after him and USC. Everybody knows Auburn and Oregon were cheating, but the clear lack of punishment should make pretty clear what we should already know. The NCAA isn't as powerful as they like to think they are. I really don't think much is going to come from this.

We are going to run the table, steal your women (not Vandy's, Mizzou or atm's ) and drink all of your booze. That's fricked as you say.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Both agents are UA alums. I highly doubt they risk losing their freedom and their friends by ratting out DJ Fluker to the NCAA.

They can easily say no such documentation ever existed. What can the NCAA do but take them at their word? They have no power to subpoena records.
Every one here, pro/con side of this story , is acting like the NCAA is made up of idiots. Do you think they will ask questions without knowing the answers before hand? That is the first rule of interrogation, don't ask about what you don't know.

Didnt some other former player rat yall out?

Depending on the wording of the contract Fluker signed, the NCAA might still have access to those statements. Will wait and see.

The NCAA doe not have subpoena power, just like every Tom, Dick and Harry on this site have said. Do you think UA is going to tell the NCAA to frick off? That is a great solution, "HEY!!!! Lets invite the NCAA to camp at our doorstep for the foreseeable future and search ever record we have!!"

He could and tell the State of Alabama to frick themselves. If they press charges, all he has to do is ask for a change of venue and then appeal the verdict as unconstitutional and/or unfair trial for being held in Alabama where he was unable to receive impartial treatment.

Actually It sounds like you haven't. NCAA found out that statements and evidence was gathered by an investigator improperly. THen they struck said evidence from their findings and have continued on with the investigation. I don't like the NCAA any more than the next guy but don't be so naive to think that they are stupid.

Not at all fricked
Posted on 9/11/13 at 9:47 pm to justmebeno
The only thing I can see the actual university can get in hot water for is "lack of oversight" since the actual infractions didn't come from them.
