Seriously though, I doubt the NCAA does anything. They need to go after these agents that are fricking with the players. Schools should not be punished.

Anyone that harbors the view that Fluker may have taken money to help out family care to provide an opinion on this?
Per the Robinson article, supposedly from the email sent from the mother of one of Fluker's teammates:
"Annice promised me that she was taking the job at the hospital when she came in January and every month she had another Excuse why she couldn't take it."
(Annice, the article states, is the name of Fluker's mother)

The Fluker's mom stuff was only in there to show that Davis was known to be able to help with Fluker. The Annice stuff was clearly a loan between two people who knew one another. That is evidenced by the fact that DJ's mom paid back a portion of that loan and the lady was just looking for help collecting the rest of the money.
That issue is really irrelevant to DJ's eligibility. the only thing for Bama to be concerned with in that regard is what DJ did.

Why contact, of all people, Davis for that help?

Way off of the mark.

How so? A loan that was not facilitated by any representative of the university between the parents of two players who know one another is not an ncaa violation. loan. not a gift. loan.

Well seeing as how he graduated from here, he is unfortunately a representative of the U. Of A.

Not a representative of the university.
A representative of a sports agency.

Defining a Booster
Who is a Representative of Athletics Interests?
The NCAA broadly defines a "booster" as an individual, agency, entity or organization who is known by an institution to:
*Have participated in or been a member of an agency that promotes the institution's intercollegiate athletics program
*Have made financial contributions to the athletics department or a booster organization for the department
*Have been involved otherwise in promoting the institution's athletics program
*Have been a season ticket holder
*Have provided benefits to student-athletes or their relatives or friends
I'm an Alumnus, am I a Booster?
Not necessarily. Not all alumni are considered boosters. Likewise, a booster does not have to be a graduate. Boosters meet at least one of the criteria listed above. Thus, an individual who has ever made a financial contribution to the Athletics Department is a booster. In a general sense, a season ticket holder in any sport at any time is a booster.

He won't be seen as a booster because of where his motivation came from.
A booster is out for the benefit of the team.
Davis was out for the benefit of his wallet.

We're going to argue he wasn't a booster based on the grounds that he was doing this for multiple schools and for the purpose of his employer.

No sir , the Langham incident didnt happen until 93 sugar bowl and Stallings played Langham in the 93 season.
Gene Jelks was paid , by Auburn boosters in 92 to tell the press and NCAA he was payed whilst he played at Bama.
It happened during our title run , but the reason Auburn boosters did this was to take heat off Auburns Pat Dye pay for play scheme , you know the Eric Ramsey situation with 60 minutes.

Partsman 103
C.R. says an individual leaked information to him.
Everyone is assuming it must be Luther Davis , but I doubt it's him.
I make no assumptions , but only throw this out for debate.
If this Email was shared between Davis & Fluker , NO ONE else has a right to read it or pass it to others.
Only Davis or Fluker could share these Emails with others legaly.
We know Fluker didn't share them , so either Davis is a POS , or someone shared these Emails illegally.

Here is another one:
I was hoping I could find one in Auburn colors as well, but I haven't had much success.

I just read through the article for the first time. It really isn't that bad, especially if Yahoo isn't turning over what they have.
This is going to mean nothing unless the NCAA can get someone to talk. All this is is a check to Luther Davis at the moment
The only real violations that are PROVEN with the text messages are during the month of december. We would only have to forfeit the championship games WHICH, the NCAA can't make us do. So I'm feeling much better about all of this

Didn't Bama have to vacate the Cotton Bowl win over Texas Tech?
