There's a lot of assumptions with some of the allegations.

IIRC, USC getting their championship revoked was all the BCS's doing.

I must say that between the game, this, and all that shite happening with the sororities, it's been a very interesting week for us.

The good thing is the NCAA has proof we will not play players ( Andre Smith , Sugar bowl 2008 ) when we find out about their dealings with an agent.

Darues in 2010 as well.

I really find it difficult to believe anyone gave Tyler Bray money.

It's been a tiring week for me. I feel like I'm getting too old for this (as a poster, I mean. I'm fairly young IRL)

Am I nuts ?

We win a national title in 92 , Gene Jelks is paid by Auburn boosters to go to the NCAA.

We win a national title in 2009 , Ingram and Jones were taken on a gulf sea fishing trip by an Auburn booster and the story gets out ..... yea right.

When Saban got hired , Auburn hired some kind of detective agengcy ( redrover I think ) to smear Bama to recruits.

And you think they wouldnt try something like this ?

I have never ever heard of an NFL agent giving a story to a college football expose writer , it makes no sense at all.

There always had to be an agenda, always.

The scary part is if its proven that Fluker received improper benefits then we unknowingly played an ineligible player and all the games he played in from that point on would be vacated. Doesn't matter if we knew we were playing an in eligible player or not.

I wouldn't expect any loss of scholarships or sanctions but we're definitely in danger of vacating the last two BCS championships. If it's true there's no excuse for Fluker he should be dissassociated from the University he put himself before his team, the coaching staff and the rest of the University.

As long as we didn't know about it, we won't lose anything.

What laws have bee broken by the agents and their runners? I'm pretty sure there are specific laws and it could be felony. Why in the hell would an agent disclose this and jeopardize his businesses? I read where the agent was a Bama grad? Same guy who did the mazlan wife YouTube video.

I just don't understand how this type of info would get out, the agent will lose his license by the NFL and could possibly face criminal charges and certainly civil charges for the damage done to the university.

But Fuller is a huge dirt bag if he took the cash, couldn't wait a little longer to get paid and not hurt the school that provided him the opportunity.

Wrong , I am pretty sure Alabama knew about the text books issue in 2006 but didnt think it was wrong , costing us games.

In 1993 , Gene Stallings played Antonio Langham after being told by the NCAA he took 200 dollars from an agent.

We had no knowledge of this until after DJ graduated.

With the text book issue , we couldn't win ( stupid rule because all kids not just athletes were doing it which means it really isn't an NCAA violation ) because once the NCAA ruled it a violation , since the university administered the text book operation , we were automatically considered to have prior knowledge , thus the games ( in the NCAAs stupid mind ) had to be forfeited.

Catch my drift ? Without knowledge , you can't be considered guilty.

The NCAA knows Saban doesn't cheat..... screw the creepos that do cheat , but that isn't Bama.

RELAX GUYS.

I second this notion. I don't feel like any probation will be handed to us for the future but what will suck is if they make us vacate wins and these past two titles.

Other than vacated wins...............I'm not worried about it

Vacated wins or not everyone will still view those championships as won by Alabama.

The A.P. has set the precedent by not striping USC in 2004 , so I dont see us losing those titles in any case.

Again, if we knew nothing, they won't touch our wins. Not so sure they can touch the titles, as someone else said, the bowl games aren't NCAA sanctioned.

49 itemized expenditures were revealed to Robinson via captured “ EMAIIL ”

Reading law online : If a person intercepts someones EMAIL and * discloses * that information , he or she can face a 5 year prison sentence for the crime.

C.R. should know better than to read a persons private EMAIL , and if pressed in a court of law will have to give up the criminal informant.

C.R. released private information from a private EMAIL and could be both criminally and litigiously libel.

Something to chew on , hope the shyt stirrer who is no doubt doing the bidding of some nefarious ,low life POS that has ulterior motives against Bama gets his comeupance.

I hope and think the ncaa knows this chit happens every day. What they expect is that the Universities are serious about compliance and regularly tutor the players on the do's and dont's. If the universities have done all they can do and they did not cover up or lie like in the case of OSU and Oregon, then I am hoping the former players can't harm the University. Now if it was a current player then he is unable to play going forward.

It was Langham, Not Jelks in 92. Jelks was before that.

So the Emails were intended for someone else and CR intercepted them?

quote:

What if the person who the emails were intended for shared with CR?

C.R. released private information from a private EMAIL and could be both criminally and litigiously libel.

Did I miss an article where someone stepped up and made the claim that the emails were *stolen* and CR did not have permission to release the messages?
