I personally was hoping for some pre game trash talk. Maybe johnny is smarter then we thought? Or is he saving it for the field?

Because if he says just one sentence without thinking the weight of the ESPN snorlax will descend upon him like locusts.

Plus he has said some smart arse things in the past such as his Tebow passing comment.

Supposedly he's been talking trash to AJ since media days when AJ acted like a little bitch and threw him under the bus. AJ wasn't in the room either, both were out chasing tail, but AJ was such a bitch he wouldn't man up and say he couldn't have woken up Johnny because he wasn't in there. He's too scared of Katherine. Ruined him and Johnny's friendship.

If the media hadn't behaved like hysterical little ninnies as of late, this wouldn't be the case.
They have.
The "not talking to media" was a request made by the Manziel family, advisers, and lawyers. Sumlin was in complete agreement--wanted Johnny focused on the game and nothing else.

It's funny ... the media tried to criticize & manufacture a story about Johnny not talking to Coach on his way to the sideline during the Rice game. And they're butthurt now that he won't talk to them this week. Karma never fails.

After the embarrassing Rice ESPN coverage I think even JFF realized they are just out to get him, and Sum, and A&M - so just be quiet.

Oh no he walked by the coach - HOLD THE PRESSES!

Chumps.

There's also this:

quote:

Sumlin isn’t pleased with the addition of CBS’s “Johnny Cam” – just zeroed in on Manziel the entire game on Saturday vs. Alabama – because it takes away from the team concept. Sumlin said he intends to have a conversation with the network about that.

There may not be a "Johnny Cam" now.

Manziel has never been one to trash talk off the field. If you have ever listened to his press conferences, he is very even keeled and respectful.

On the field, he plays with a lot of passion and wants nothing more than to embarrass the other team.
