Another Heisman and NC most likely.

If this is true, JFF is coming back.
re: Is Arkansas a worse fit for the SEC than TAMU or Mizzou?
Posted by jrodan on 10/18/13 at 1:06 pm
I don't see Arkansas being able to nail down the recruits required on both sides of the ball to consistently win with BB's power run grind game. BB would have been challenging for the SEC with his style about 3 years ago. It' dinosaur ball now.

Defense plays the best game of the year, then continues to struggle in remaining weeks.

I admire your enthusiasm.
re: Aggies' OCS- not impressed.

If you are in the west, you are already obligated to play 3 of the best teams in the country year in/out. Add to that the good chances of playing another top 10 team as a cross division opponent (SCAR for TAMU), why do you need to schedule anything but cupcakes for OOC?
SEC teams are the only ones with the luxury of not having to prove anything OOC in order to go to the Natty, and with our donors, we don't need the money.

Now if we can just get the whole defensive thing figured out...

Come back when you have a legitimate upset. (11/30)

What is defined as a "legit" projection? My guess is that your definition is something like "any projection that does not include A&M"
re: Is Auburn concerned about the noise level at Kyle Field?

I'd rather play every team on the road. We win more consistently that way.

re: Which football job titles would you be OK with a Bama connected person having?
Posted by jrodan on 10/9/13 at 8:34 am
Custodial services most likely. Most Bama fans didn't actually finish high school, so I am not comfortable putting any of them in an important position of any sort.
re: If Alabama wins the Nat'l Championship again this year....

I don't think the SEC wins the natty this year. Everyone will immediately forget about the 7 in a row and begin claiming once again the SEC has always been overrated.
The team that does win this year will be heralded as the greatest team of all time. When the 30 for 30 comes out, they will spin it so that all SEC teams look like cheating programs that are finally taken down by the "good guy" university.
Also, next year, the SEC will be tabbed as the 3rd best conference in the nation based on not winning the NC for the first time in seven years alone.

re: Why is Clowney scared to face the best backfield on the SEC?
Posted by jrodan on 10/8/13 at 8:34 am
He doesn't need to play, it's already been proven that you don't need a defense to beat Arky.
re: I can't blame Clowney for not wanting to play
Posted by jrodan on 10/8/13 at 8:31 am
Clowney just isn't as good as he was hyped up to be. He needs to come back for his senior year and prove something.
