How does A&M-Bama 2013 hype compare to LSU-Bama 2011?

We already know about LSU in 2011....This one seems to be yet another hype circus. 
Is it mostly because of ESPN, Saban, or Manziel?
And how big of a letdown would it be if the game is a blowout?

Bama / LSU 2011 were late in the season and both undefeated. This one doesn't rate that.

There were 3 things going for 2011 that really helped (that A&M-Bama doesn't have):
1. #1 vs #2
2. Saban-LSU
3. November, instead of September
Huge game this weekend, no doubt, but not even close to the magnitude of 11-5

I'll admit it's going to be a good game, but seriously, there is nowhere near the hype for this game that they put into the LSU/Bama 11 game.

Seems like 1/3 of fans believe it will be a blowout in Alabama's favor. Unless Alabama's OL ends up being atrocious again. If Alabama can't run the ball well and the game gets put in McCarron's hands they might be in trouble. Still, A&M's defense sucks, so I don't see that happening.

2011 was an undeniably epic matchup between the best two teams in the country.
There's nothing overly special about this one. Just another revenge game. Sure it's got implications but nowhere near as big in hype or scale to 11/5

That game had a 2 week build up because both teams were on a BYE week before the game. The tuesday of the BYE week was 10x bigger than this

The thing with 11/5 is that both teams were at least 90% sound on both sides of the ball. Alabama was just coming off the tornadoes and our team was fighting to bring a title for the people who were lost and died those days. It was a great story for that entire team. That game will never be surpassed EVER as far as hype. Everybody and their mother was betting and couldn't wait to see that game.

Different IMO, 2011 was about the coaches and rivalry, this year is about Saban vs Manziel.
