Jerald Hawkins is a massive troll job from the LSU staff he's way bigger than we thought and absolutely dominated. It really helps the line to have two anchors on the end now.

Jerald Hawkins will be a higher draft pick than La'El will be

Brendan Langley covered Sammy Watkins as a true freshman and did really well. If Swann makes a tack then Watkins has 66 yards and no scores

Ricky Seals-Jones and Darian Claiborne both looked like they will be studs for us.

Collins obviously but also freshman TE Hunter Henry with 75 yards receiving

As for new starters Brandon Allen couldn't have played much better...throws a nice ball

Tenpenny looked pretty good on a few carries.

I bet he becomes the #2 behind TJ.

Treadwell and Collins for moi

ETA: Forgot about VH3. To get an INT as a true freshman corner in your debut is damn impressive and a sign of scary things to come.

Bielema and Chaney together make the perfect combo for Allen. He gets to play his game, smart, very accurate throws. I wouldn't be shocked if he leads the SEC in completion % and QB rating this year. Just a good sound smart QB that got tons of hate for the Bama game last year. He was better then Kiehl Frazier in HS, just didn't get the pub because he ended his recruitment so early.

As for me on new starters, Senior Jarett Lake. It's taken him 4 years, but he's finally turned into the player he was supposed to be when he flipped from OU to Arkansas in NSD back when.

Random note: How many times did Arkansas DB's turn their heads to look for the ball yesterday? a bunch is the answer.

If Will Hines could catch he'd lead the SEC in INT's.
