I've wondered the same about AU and Miss State but some people are misguided during their youth and suffer the rest of their life because of it.

Yessir, we did. In 2013 I'm not sure that a lot of what we did would be described as "fun", though.
I'm not even gonna touch your wife's understanding of your relationships with female Corps members. I can pretty well guess how that conversation works out in my house. But again, I'm an old fart.

Nah, pretty sure those conversations would work out the same for me as they would for you had she not been a member of the same Corps outfit as I. She saw for herself how my relationships with my female buddies worked, so there really wasn't a whole lot of ambiguity.
I'm very lucky and blessed.

I was her pisshead. Started dating on the DL when she was halfway through her sophomore year, though.

Of course not you side walker!
I chose not to go to college. I may, but I'm gonna explore some other avenues before I go through the higher education path.

I wish I would have joined the Marines with my best friend out of high school instead of trying college. He went in as an NDT tech and once he got out of the corps, he got a job making $60,000 a year...... fricker....

That's just not fair. But it does have benefits though. Protect the homeland and your protection and well being are assured later on in life. Great opportunity for sure. I tried to get in and serve, once they found I had epilepsy they stopped me cold.

One downside to his job is he is basically screwed out of watching college football the first month of the season, because they have to work seven 12s all month. Fortunately he is a huge Tennessee fan, so he hasn't missed much the past few years.
Yeah I have known a couple that couldn't get in because of asthma.

I really wouldn't want to go to college in Tuscaloosa to be honest. I practically live there and go to most games and know a lot of people. I'd prefer maybe Baton Rouge or Lexington.

Yeah, I like to go down to Bama for games and to visit family but I have no desire to live there.

Too.....much Bama for a good amount of time
