I bet he's hating life right now thinking I'm going to be playing in this shite offense for the next 2 years then I'll hope for a new HC.

That doesn't look like McNeal.

So Strong has spent the last few weeks spinning a story about how they were on the rise and we were falling apart. He's been using the Malik commit as the "moment" that momentum changed in the state and telling recruits that. They were the program on the rise and all that jazz.
That narrative has been necessary because he's struggling to connect with recruits. He did the same thing over the summer telling kids that we were going to have a rough year. It's a gamble. You can change momentum in one fell swoop if your predictions come true. I'm extremely interested to see how he'll spin yesterday (and then today). He's straining his credibility on the recruiting trail

Regardless of spin Malik & McNeal are already signed and sealed.

this is not correct
They have signed financial aid packages which binds the school to the player, not the player to the school. Until they enroll in classes, they can go anywhere they want.

How seriously do you take Malik's father's comment about MJ's commitment being final?

I would be shocked if Malik flipped, regardless of who we hire. IMO, the backhand jab at Sumlin sealed his fate.

Future undrafted free agents?
