Isn't Daniels a legacy?

Mack has elite burst, but is likely already physically maxed out. Not to say he won't be great in college.

When we had Daylon everybody said Daniels sucked.

We told Boyd we wanted him in CS. He pushed his decision date back from today to after his official visit to the good guys. Positive news since everyone was saying he was about to commit to Texas today.

I think it's hilarious that after we tell Boyd we wan him in campus next fall th first thing he does is move his decision date back so that he can evaluate his options. What a novel fricking approach

247 has lots of CBs going A&Ms way the past few days for Richard Moore. I know he originally committed in June then decommitted earlier this month. Does anyone know what has changed on that front?

I don't study tape or break down players, but as a fan sitting in the stands at the state championship game, I was very impressed. He seemed to be everywhere and was in on most tackles. The more I watched, the more I wanted him in maroon next year.

The tackling stats he put up this year are pretty impressive. Given how badly A&M has tackled the past couple of years, it seems he's a player we could really use. Thoughts?

Moore is an early enrollee. Supposedly we get Wyatt as WR coach, who both Moore and Lodge are fond of.

Ah, I knew Lodge and Wyatt had close ties, but I didn't know Wyatt was an influence for Moore. Lodge looked pretty good in the championship game as well, but I was surprised he got such few targets. I would love to have Lodge back, but we need some guys who can make plays on D

Since Wyatt was out of a job, I thought there would be quicker movement on that front and since there hasn't, it makes me wonder

Daniels is a big body and knows how to play the position but he's not as quick or as strong at the point of attack like Mack is. Not many are obviously but he's pretty legit though if you need a good replacement. But if we get him he needs a redshirt year, imo, to get stronger in his lower body and work on getting quicker with his feet. He was quoted the other day that even though he has an offer from us were behind other schools because when we had Mack, we didn't really recruit him very hard simply put. It'll be a bit of a challenge if we really wanted him.

Like Daniels a lot. If we can't get Mack back in the fold, I hope we can reel him in. He's probably the 2nd best DT in state this year.

In that light I am glad Mack decommited when he did if he was going to.

True, better now than NSD, honestly.

Since that has happened regarding Mack, we've 're-engaged a couple DT prospects from LA I read today, including TD Moton, who was once close to committing to us before being lured away by Alabama.

Personally, I think if you want to look into Louisiana for a replacement, you should check out Jozie Milton. Kid is a little undersized but he's pretty good. Was once committed to South Carolina, I think. If you watch his film, you'll see he's a pretty vicious SOB. Likes to hit. But again, he's a little small.

So apparently Lodge showed up at his all-star game decked in Aggie gear and he's rooming with Kyler

National analysts tweeted today that there's no way daylon is 6ft, and that his frame may be maxed out already.

FTR it was a concern of mine before he decommitted. Also I still think he'll be a great player.
