i think 2006 when we blocked the punt to start the 2nd half is the loudest i've ever heard it.
At least the loudest in the 2000's....the damn stadium was vibrating after that play.
Calvin Jackson's 99 yard pick 6 against UF has to rank as one of the loudest moments in JH history. I was at that game as well and we were getting our arse handed to us until that play flipped everything. In 10 seconds we had a 14 point swing.

The crowd after the 2006 blocked punt could be heard everywhere around Auburn. That was incredible.

I came about as close as I ever have to getting in a fight DURING a football game that night.
Was at a bar on Clematis street in West Palm Beach with a buddy (former kicker for AU actually), a VA Tech alum, and several girls.
My buddy and I were liqoured up pretty good by the second half and raising hell on the patio and had the girls involved doing boda getta cheers and so forth while screaming our heads off like we wee in the stadium. We took it out on the patio so we could get as loud and rowdy as we wanted but after the Leak fumble, some pissed off Gators came out on the bar and damn near started a full on brawl with us.

My friend and I had gone to a Tool concert in 06 in Birmingham the night of that game. I was honestly not feeling very good going into the game.
We got back that night and it was chaos in Auburn. We even saw an overturned car. Parties everywhere. I was happy to have seen Tool play (my fav band) but sad we missed all the action.

That and McCalleb's run against LSU in 2010 rocked J-H harder than any other times in the 2000's.
Loudest ever? 1989 Iron Bowl. Ya had to be there to know.

Yeah, I was pretty bad that night. Good times though. Even got laid by a girl I met at the end of the game that night. After we were sorta asked to leave, we went to Bradley's and kept the party going until about 4am when we each took home some strange from the bar we watched the game at.

Too bad our last game, 2011, was two teams who were just a shell of what they once were.

Damn, I wasn't aware we UF/AU had played 83 games. That's more meetings than the Iron Bowl.

No worries
Great stuff here, auburn should go to the east IMO, make bama drop Tennessee from permanent rival and keep the iron bowl alive by adding auburn as bama's permanent east rival. Move mizzou to the west where they should be.

This fricked everything up.
Missouri is nowhere East of anything in the SEC.

I wish we could start playing again annually without losing the LSU game.

That was a straight up cripple fight especially UF offense vs Auburn defense.
