Now he is saying he is neither for or against the HUNH Offense. At first he said it was an issue of safety, now he is saying it is counter to how the game was designed to be played. He claims football is not a Continuous Play Game, and the HUNH Offense should be looked at to see if it meets the requirements of the game. Even the ESPN Mouthpieces are throwing the BS Flag on this latest statement.

He is a defensive coach and the HUNH limits his ability to control every aspect of the defense on every play. That is why he doesn't like it.

When Saban talks about the HUNH he kind of contradicts himself. He will sit there and go on and on about the saftey, the increase in number of plays, etc the he turns right around and acts as if he "doesnt have an opinion" or he'll say something to the effect of "I dont know if its the wrong way or the right way..."

Let me say that I have great respect for Saban and always have. He runs a clean program and doesnt put up with any bullshite. But I feel like he will spend 5 minutes bitching about HUNH then another 3 tellin you he wasnt bitching about it.

Anyone else agree?

Is it just me or are Alabama fans the least bitchy fans on the rant? Jesus Christ man Saban has an opinion different than yours. Why is this such a big deal?

You mean Saban is going back on something he had previously said? No! I won't believe it.

I agree with him 100%

I went to the UT-Baylor game this past season, it was a 70-63 final score. That's not football.

Actually, he hasn't changed his stance at all. He's been saying the same thing since it was first mentioned last year, or two years ago - whenever it was. It's just that you guys want to cry foul and fixate on the part that suits your argument.

we really don't need to do this every day. He, nor any rational person has ever believed this is about anything other than him, as a defensive minded coach, wanting to maximize what he can get from a defense. He wants what's best for alabama, as he should...despite how stupid is argument is.

Funny, he never whined so much when he was at LSU.

Maybe Bama's fan base is rubbing off on him - I understand they like to do that to people.

Why aren't there 5000 threads calling Saban a whiner like there is when another SEC coach complains about a proven schedule unbalance?
