Rule Proposal for Player Safety

In the interest of player safety it is important that a new rule be added to limit the number of plays an offense can run.
Fact: Football is dangerous. More football is more dangerous. Less football is less dangerous.
Therefore, I propose that each team should be allowed to run a maximum of 4 offensive plays per quarter. Once a team has reached their offensive play limit, they must punt. Once both teams have reached their offensive play limit, the quarter is over and the next quarter begins.

Auburn experimented with this rule last year.

Arkansas needs to quit thinking everything is about them. Nobody cares about Arkansas. Win something and maybe we will. This is about player safety.
I'm quite sure that the #1 goal for football is to prevent injuries, make sure nobody is tired or sweating, and figure out new ways to keep the strongest, fastest people in our society from getting hurt. We've got to limit the number of plays -- or else someone might need a Gatorade.

We've been doing this since 2008, bro.
