Great argument. Your offense is sure to run and throw all over our offense. Sounds like you don't know how football works.

LSU stacked. TAMU fricked.
So you're saying that Clemson > LSU > TAMU? Sucks to be you I guess.

Manziel just did a poor job of recognizing this and tried to play superman too often
He doesn't seem to read progressions very well just wings it
This is actually my point. Against LSU he was looking at his first or maybe 2nd option and then tried to take off. He also wasn't recognizing the defenses at the line very well. As the season went on he continued to get much, much better. He became much more patient and had a much better feel for the routes his receivers were running. That's why A&M's offense became so deadly. He also only had a few turnovers from that point on.
LSU did a great job of confusing Manziel, I just don't see him making all those mistakes and misreads again with all the experience he has now.

thanks for the actual football talk aggressor...
Agreed, Mingo's impossible to replace when it comes to chasing down people as a DE, but it's not like he made all the tackles last year, they did it as a team, and even if this year's DE's lack that speed (Montgomery's speed was overrated tho), we had a LB or DB across from Mingo running the same containment blitz and have great depth as far as speedy LB's.
If you've seen Jeremy Hill play football, you're kidding yourself if you think you have an advantage at RB.
OL is a wash at this stage b/c you lost your best OL, but I still give the team that's been recruiting at a high level for a dozen years the advantage in this dept.
I'm not too high on our WRs so you can have that one, but Evans certainly wasn't a star against us last year..
Agreed, but this seems too subjective and misses my point: A&M couldn't deal with our Defense last year, so with Chavis and our usual athletic D, it could easily be a repeat. I really was trying to figure out if Bama failed with a similar D as LSU and UF or if they put more DB's on the field after the 1st Quarter b/c I know they improved after then. I'll just have to watch it myself.
I just see a lot of Tigers admitting we may drop one on the road to UGA, but haven't heard any Aggies fathom the possibility of losing in Tiger Stadium to a team that beat you last year at your house.

The biggest thing LSU did in that game was have the speed to contain him in the pocket and take away his scramble running, of course Montgomery and Mingo are gone now.

Against Bama when they sold out to contain his running he started throwing the ball quite successfully.

Chief's defensive adjustment against the aggies was to take out a DT and replace him with a safety (Eugene).
It was actually a three DL, two LB and six DB look.
As for LSU's losses at DE. What I remember reading after the game was aggies saying how their all american OTs controlled M&M. They were both ineffective.
I take that to mean they didn't contribute to the tigers victory. So, does it really matter who replaces them?
Don't sleep on Rasco and Hunter. They will post better numbers in '13 than what KeKe and Sonic Sam put up in '12.

Jesus, when are you aggies ever going to learn this ain't the B12?
Two positions LSU will be better at than A&M this season: defense and special teams.
It takes more than just offense to win in the SEC. As a matter of fact, LSU has been winning without an offense at all for quite a while now, 43-10 over the last 4 years.

So A&M is the only team to improve since they lost to LSU? You never know what a team is going to do just because of what they were last year.

You seem to forget that Death Valley was one of the toughest places to play in all of CFB.
That place will be nuts.

That's a fact, especially if A&M can get by UA.

We being on decline and all.

Jeremy Hill might be the best RB among the two teams, but A&M goes four deep at RB with three being five stars.
We're stacked.
We're stacked.

We're talking strictly natural abilities here. When JFF did take off, LSU got good looks at him. That wasn't the case 90% of the time he did that.
It was obvious by halftime that yalls defensive gameplan was to contain Manziel, and yet we kept calling pass plays and running plays for him. It was confusing, especially because Malena and Michael (our RBs) both got good yardage running up the middle whenever we did give them the ball.
Overall, I'd say that was our OCs worst game of the season. We never adjusted to what you all were doing. That takes nothing away from the job yall did on Manziel though. You all were the only team to make him genuinely uncomfortable (Florida doesn't count; new coach in his first game & fish QB making his first start... nobody wearing Maroon really knew what the hell they were doing in that game).
As for the 2013 game: Miles and Chavis have a defensive machine set up in BR, but this year is really going to try their abilities. 10+ new players in your defensive 2 deep, right? (and most of those 10 were starters?) Our offense should be amazing again (I think there's a high probability that it'll be better than last year's).

C'mon, is this for real? There was an earlier post projecting A&M's record. Almost all the non-drunk Aggies expect 2 losses. Guess who those are to?
I have no idea how they'll do at Tiger Stadium. I don't want to know, I just want to watch. That's what makes this fun. I can see A&M going undefeated with a phenomenal QB in his second year, much improved after you lunatics started critiquing his '12 performance in the LSU game. I can also see them losing 3 or 4. I don't know. And no offense or anything, but guess what? You don't either.

After staying away from the SEC rant for the most part and ready this thread, I am amazed at the A&M mindset. I was shocked at how similar it is to the Arkansas little brother syndrome. It's like you guys are trying to hard.
