I just wish their fans would travel better if this is their best sport. You expect the Gators not to travel in softball but their were plenty of Vols and Dawgs at the games. Bama was well represented early and TAMU and Cocks bonded early and combined their cheering sections to make more noise. Lots of Cats even tho they went out early but they were hosting so it was good to see them turnout. Saw some Hogs as well but they did not do very well.

Dores really need to get a softball team and Bama and LSU need to snap back in the tourney.

Yes, but they were stronger than TexA&M just before moving to the SEC.

I was happy you guys advanced and did well but if you guys did not travel when you had a shot at wining your first SEC championship will you travel well and represent the SEC when it is the NCAA and the WCWS?

You guys kept saying this was your big sport. Unlike most other SEC sports it does not take many Mizzou fans to travel to make you look good here. You guys are making some coin now in the SEC so open those dusty wallets and hit the road. Do us all proud.

I've explained to you twice in a real, honest, non-rantish way why Mizzou tends not to travel well, and yet you continue to post the same shite in every single Mizzou thread.

I'm not getting into it with you again.

Get over it.

They traveled well to OKC in the past.

Yeah, but your explanation dealt with the past. This a new era for the Tigers with a new neighborhood and new schools. Motivate the younger fans so they do not follow the ways of the past and get the most out of being part of the SEC family. I have already met way more TAMU fans and they seem to be embracing their freedom from their POW past.

Live a little and explore the new age.

Over reach. Mizzou played the #1 and #2 seed in the SAME day, few hours apart. Beat the #2, lost to the #1. How is that bad? They will most likely host a regional.

They'll adjust in time. Most people with brains expected aTm to do well but not this well this quick. aTm has a stronger football program historically anyway so I expected them to out pace Mizzou. Mizzou should be a solid overall addition in all sports will just take longer than aTm. aTm will come back to earth although I still expect them to be a contender on a regular basis. They best make hay while they can because when big brother UT gets their house in order its going to hurt aTm. UT needs to get off the pot and not give aTm to much of a run.

Agreed, from a sports side they did well in the tourney and well in the regular season. Which is what several posters on here said before about it being their best sport (the SEC plays) as the SEC does not have wrestling.

Took South Carolina a while. Mizzou will get there.

I hope they adjust. Hell aTm came in and has been pretty impressive.

Salute for an admission that for most LSU fans would be very painful!

I'll resist the temptation to regurgitate past predictions about A&M's future doormat status, and just say I'm pretty happy with where the school is, though I hope we get better in football and baseball. Mizzou had horrific injury problems last year in football that would make any fan cringe if it happened to your team. They'll be fine.

You clearly didn't see year 1 of the Kennedy error...and the women won the SEC.

Funny thing about Mizzou and TAMU, when Mizzou played well, who was the KEY player, Gabbert and Daniels. Now Mizzou's QB's suck. TAMU is doing well, who is the key player, Manziel. I'm waiting to see what TAMU do without a good QB. We see what it's doing to Mizzou.

This season in football will depend on their QB play, he should be healthy, they get Josey back at RB. I expect the offense to do a lot better. Don't know how the defense will do without Richardson. But the offense going 3 and out wore on Mizzou's defense against the top SEC teams.

Between Fred Akers and Mack Brown was almost 15 years.

Y'all may have quite the recruiting run in Texas if UT slow plays the situation. Lol

Now Mizzou's QB's suck.

I thought James Franklin was very good in the few games I saw him play in previous years, and for the uninitiated he didn't play much in '12 due to injury. Berkstresser... not so much. I think with Franklin Mizzou would have had a much better year in 2012. Again, Mizzou will be fine. Nobody gets hit with injuries the way your team was two years in a row.

As for A&M's QBs - there are several hotshots in the pipeline behind JFF, like James Franklin other Texas HS products. I think A&M will be fine. But even with a marginal QB I really like our chances with Sumlin. I'm an old fart and went to school when Bellard was the coach and have seen several good coaches since then. But I'd take Sumlin over any of them. I think he's the real deal, with or without a freakish athlete like Johnny Manziel.

I mean, they had a shitty first year.

So it's obvious they'll suck for the next hundred.
