Notre Dame always has a solid schedule. I don't see the big deal.
It would be a solid schedule if those teams were any good. Lots of name teams? Sure. Lots of top teams? No.

I don't know what the rankings will be going into this seaspn, but there as many as six teams on their schedule that could be ranked.

it absolutely is a solid schedule and LOL at Mizzou going 8-4 with it.
where their fans look dumb is when they say no SEC team could survive it.
Hell, last year Pitt had to GIVE the game away for ND to win and that Stanford game ended on an obviously bullshite call by the refs.

I guess UGA playing a September of:
at Clemson
Carolina
BYE
North Texas
LSU
is pretty easy when I think about it

Possibly, just like USC was ranked #1 going into last year.

It might be an impressive win in the early 2000's but MI, USC are just not the same. You went unbeaten against a very similar schedule but in the end you got your arse totally handed to you. I wish my Commodores were on that schedule - we're tied in the US News and World Report as the 17th ranked undergraduate schools. I think we would take you and you would have no "but we have scholar athlete bs excuses."

I didn't say it wasn't solid. But to claim that it's so tough that no SEC team could run that gauntlet is absurd. And MU against that schedule:
VS Temple Win
At Michigan Loss
At Purdue Win
VS Michigan St Win (at home)
VS Oklahoma Loss (though at home, could be close)
VS Arizona St Win
BYE
VS USC Loss (though they're overrated and its home)
At Air Force Win
VS Navy Win
At Pittsburgh Win
BYE
VS BYU Win
At Stanford Loss
And I'm a guy that thinks MU may go 4-8 or 5-7 next year so get off your high horse. A&M will come back to reality after next year.

4, with one in the top 10 in SI's latest poll:
VS Temple
At Michigan (16)
At Purdue
VS Michigan St (14)
VS Oklahoma (17)
VS Arizona St
BYE
VS USC
At Air Force
VS Navy
At Pittsburgh
BYE
VS BYU
At Stanford (3)
Here's LSU's 2013 sched, 5 ranked with 3 in the top 10:
TCU (15)
UAB
Kent
Auburn
@ UGA (11)
@ MSU
Florida (9)
@ Ole Miss
Furman
@ Alabama (1)
A&M (2)

A collection of SEC fans from this board would walk through this schedule.

Yea, if only ND was lucky enough to start with those 4 instead of Temple, Michigan, Purdue, and MSU.

That's what I've gathered from this thread.
That's a damn good schedule.

vs Temple - no big deal
@ Michigan - Tide says hello
@ Purdue - winnable by top half of SEC
vs Michigan State - winnable by top half of SEC
vs Oklahoma - winnable by top half of SEC
vs Arizona State - no big deal
BYE - could be tough
vs USC - winnable by top half of SEC
@ Air Force - no big deal
vs Navy - no big deal
@ Pittsburgh - no big deal
BYE - should have more experience this late in season
vs BYU - no big deal
@ Stanford - winnable by top half of SEC
Not only would at least 1/2 of the SEC survive that schedule and get a good bowl win I would say 4 - 6 SEC teams could go undefeated with that schedule.

The one team everyone is dismissing way to lightly is Arizona State. They will be much tougher tis year and it would not shock me if they upset ND.
There are 4 real games on that schedule.
Arizona State
Michigan
Stanford
Oklahoma
All of the Big schools n this schedule except Michigan are garbage. 2 of the service academies, Temple, and Pitt are below average, and USC is mediocre.

Arkansas plays that schedule minus UGA.
Our SEC road games this year are ridiculous: @Bama @UF @Ole Miss @LSU.
Good God man...we gone get raped!
Just curious? Anyone think that an SEC team has ever played on the road at Bama, UF, and LSU in the same season ever? Man that's just brutal.
On top of that, we have USCe and aTm at home.
