It appears they have hit their stride in SEC play......if you look at team hitting stats they are next to last in the SEC for batting average as a team....but look at SEC only stats and they lead the conference. That is crazy.

Yeah, when it comes to hitting balls with bats, Alabama stands alone.

inconsistent bats, solid to good pitching, and great defense

I think they are definitely a good team - not a great team, and not one that will be in the mix for the conference title the last few weekends though. But a solid team that should be in a regional.

Arkansas traditionally plays like hot garbage (our worst SEC road record) @ Bama; if Bama doesn't do well this weekend, they're probably not that good.

They have been playing better lately, but I don't think that they are capable of keeping it up all season.

We're not very good. We've beat the worst teams in the SEC.

Although their current 18-11 record was compiled against maybe not the strongest schedule, I think they end up with a good enough record by the end of May to be invited to a Regional.

Yes. When playing teams like Tennessee, Georgia, and Auburn? We're a good baseball team.

We have a very young team that is much improved over last year's team that only won 9 SEC games. This one has already won 7. Regardless of who they've played, it's much improved. Are they "good?" Guess that depends on how "good" you mean. They're "good" in that they may have a shot to make a regional, they aren't "host a regional good" though.
