You mean one of the three fanbases that actually cares about baseball* (the other two being Cocky and tflagship). If someone started a softball thread, you gumps would be all over it.

As to Bama, I think they are hot and a little confidence in baseball, even against weaker opponents, can ignite a team. I look for them to hang tough and contend for the division.

*Note: State was excluded from the count because what they do is not considered playing baseball by SEC standards. Better luck next year.

Brother and he's better IMO. Next year is likely the year for Bama to compete in the SEC.

I will add that if that these freshman bats can step up we have the pitching to be a pretty good team.

Look at all the Bama fans in a thread about a sport you supposedly don't care about. Not to worry, I'm sure y'all will resume not caring about it as soon as you start losing.

If LSU fans "know" that Bama fans don't care about baseball why start a thread about it?

Because LSU fans care about baseball and want to know more about the teams in the conference. The fact that you couldn't come to that conclusion without asking does not bode well for your ability to constructively contribute to this thread. My hope is you will go to the gymnastics thread I have created where you can talk about a sport you care and possibly even know something about.

There are some Bama fans who care about all UA athletics. They just dont run their mouth off like a lot of people around here.

I would assume there are far fewer LSU basketball fans now than there were in the days of Shaq. It's the way of college sports. Anyone who tries to use the "bama fans in a baseball thread" as an argument to belittle the fans is ridiculous.

In general, people get excited when their team is successful, and they become more engaged in the sport. It's not brain science.
