I've said it once I'll say it again offense alone will not win us any games. Look @ Tennessee last year. Great offense, shite defense. And they ended up losing in shootouts of 51-44, 41-31, 38-35, and 51-48. And to top it off they got only 1 conference win.
I sadly see us next year having similar results and until it is proven our defense after losing most of its players will not be crap I'll have us penciled in for @ least 5 losses (Clemson, USC-e, LSU, Vandy, Florida). Though I do see us getting more than 1 conference win next year looks to be ugly. Our high powered offense will make things entertaining sure but we won't be able to stop anyone.

I dunno how opposing teams will defend Hunter, Rogers, and Patterson at the same time.

Thanks elposter and Teague... I'm sure yall will plug in a couple RS juniors and sophs and they will be All SEC before their eligibility is up... Congrats on the Hill hire... I've always liked him... Probably should've asked this question on the Tiger Rant... That place is so Bama and Sabansessed I would've had 10 indepth answers in a matter of minutes.

That is a rational, logical, sensical post from a Georgia fan. Props to you, sir, I didn't think it would ever happen.

I bet AU is Top 5 in total offense. I'll take that bet.
Gus' offense ranked in the Top 5 in total offense, in each perspecive conference, every year that he has ran a college offense and every year did it with a new QB, save 2011.
You may want to reconsider.

Auburn got rid of Scott Loeffler. You may want to reconsider your bet.

They left out Texas A&M because that's a given.
Did any of you fricktards read the article? They listed Bama, UGA, and ATM as the three to look at. They picked Bama but said they were all equal bets.

Interesting no mention of A&M
They don't want to go with the obvious choice:
- Best QB/offensive weapon in college football
- Top 5 pick at left tackle
- 2 five star running backs
- The SEC's third leading receiver last year(as a freshman)
The only area where A&M's offense isn't light years ahead of Bama/UGA is running backs, and the drop off is slight.

As far as offense goes there's a&m and then there is everyone else in the SEC. Bama, Uga, USC should all have strong Os but not in a&ms level.

Are you fricking joking? Comparing our offense to last years Tenn offense is fricking retarded. My god to sink as low as to compare us to the Tenn dumpster fire makes you look like a fricking troll...? Seriously...Murray > Bray, Gurshall > any back on Tenn roster, our Wide Outs >= Tenn, our Oline..Wash. Stop trolling...losing to Vandy? Eat a dick troll.

Light years ahead? Alabama may have the best WR in the conference next year. Yeldon and Gurley are way better than any RB on TAMU's roster, and the OL's are all very comparable. Oh and Alabama's QB just won his 2nd national title.
Let's be realistic here.

Idiot. Bray and Murray can both throw it a mile but they can't win big games, so i'd put them at equal. Gurshall is better than our RBs, yes, because they are hosses. Our wideouts last year were pretty damn impressive. CP (1st in the SEC in All-purpose yards in 2012) is a likely first rounder who ran circles around your "elite" defense and Hunter still managed 1000 yeards and 9 touchdowns on the season. UGA doesn't have the big time talent like we had at WR last year. Our O-line last year was 5th in the country with 8 sacks allowed, so calling our lines a wash is a bit ridiculous, especially considering your O-line this year gave up 28 sacks and they'll be anchoring down your 2013 squad. UT's "dumpster fire" offense ranked 18th in the country last season(2nd in the SEC), so you eat a dick.
And as a Georgia fan you have much more important things than offense to worry about. What about all those guys you're gonna have to replace on defense? All i'm saying is that it's been Georgia's year for the past 5 years now, and time and again ya'll managed to lose the big game. I think time is up, especially now that Florida and SC are on the up and up and ya'll actually have a difficult West opponent this year.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that a badass offense can make up for a shoddy defense. That's the mistake ALL UT fans made last preseason, and that's why we all disappeared pretty quick once the season started.

They had Gus Malzahn as the OC in 2011 and the offense that season wasn't much better than what it was in 2012.

Today's Take Two topic: If you could pick an offense in 2013, which one would you take -- Alabama's or Georgia's?
Amazing. A&M was barely mentioned in article about Georgia's offense and Alabama's offense. Truly shocking.
