Wasnt Jimmy Johns the kid from Brookhaven that was operating a cocain cartel?
Yeah, and he was selling pitbulls, too.

Seems like he was "Mr. Football" for the state of Mississippi. I remember hearing about him getting arrested and looking on his Facebook page, seeing "mutual friends," and thinking, "oh damn." They arrested a couple more of his cronies a little while later in a sting operation at the extended stay hotel near the Cracker Barrel. What they didn't tell you when he was arrested though was that UA and the athletic department were working in conjunction with the police to arrest him on charges that were sure to stick and to send a message to the other players.

There's a drug problem here, period.

ETA: Somewhere at home I have a screen print of his FB page from the time of the arrest. It's pretty funny.

So how many more do we need to get rid of to make room for this class? It is kind of funny this stuff surfaces every year after NSD.
+/- 4 more, depends on if Ely is jetting or not. I could be totally wrong though.

Where did they come up with the SUV they were driving? Whenever any of these little tales of perfidy comes up, I always wonder about that detail -- 'SUV' covers a wide territory, and I wish the reporting was more specific. 2013 Mercedes? 15 year old Suburban? Blinged up Porsche?

I think Williams was driving a 2007 Honda Accord when he was arrested with the gun on Sunday. Does that count as bling these days?

Not sad at all, most of us would have loved to have the abilities theses guys do. THEY just threw away a free education because of pride and selfishness. Sabans history of getting rid of those who do t comply is well documented. They had to see this coming.

In a statement attributed to Alabama athletic director Mal Moore (pictured, left), the university expressed disappointment in the actions of four of its football players — running back Brent Calloway, linebacker Tyler Hayes, defensive lineman D.J. Pettway and defensive back Eddie Williams – that resulted in felony charges yesterday but stopped short of addressing the futures of the individuals with the football program.

“This is a very serious matter and we are very disappointed in the actions that have resulted in the charges against these student-athletes. In this type of situation, the Athletics Department works in conjunction with the University. We will have more to say at the appropriate time.”

This is all, right now, RELATIVE TO THE SITUATION.

Will be punished with shining the statue every day for 1 year.

Let's see if Nickie has the balls to do the right thing.

Anyway to do the hands on the mugshot, so he looks like he did that pose during his mugshot?

do you really think that Saban is going to let 3 guys that beat someone up on for their ACT card stay on the team? You are pretty dumb if you think that it is going to happen.

It would show more balls and hubris to not kick them off the team. But Saban ain't got time for that.
