Not sure what you mean by this. PM is 3rd in career passing yards. He should overtake Marino next year and perhaps Favre if he has 3-4 productive seasons left.
He would likely get in on that if nothing else.

Peyton Manning will be a first ballot HOF guy, and will certainly be top 10, probably top 5, and possibly top 3 QBs of all time. Nothing to debate as far a his HOF credentials.

Eli on the other hand, is borderline at this point. Depends on how many more years he plays without injury.
Archie will never be, unless it is a body of work type deal that includes his broadcasting career and all that he does out of the spotlight as a silent ambassador for the game.

Stats get Peyton in, despite the fact that he's not top 10 all time
This isn't even a good troll.
In fact, the dumb "Super Bowls are an individual stat" cliché is literally the only thing holding Peyton back from being widely considered the greatest football player ever. But he's "not top ten QB all time."
When PM retires, he will have more MVPs than any other player ever (already accomplished), more Pro Bowls than any other player ever (already most for QBs, two away from having all position record), been named 1st Team All-Pro more than any other QB ever (currently tied with Unitas), every statistical passing record, and every "wins" record, even though that's stupid since wins are a team accomplishment.

Probably going to catch hell for saying this, but while Peyton is definitely a top 5 all time QB, I would still take Brady or Montana over him. I put Peyton ahead of Favre, but both Brady and Montana put up phenomenal statistical seasons and managed to win it all multiple times. I definitely think that the SB stats get overblown, but there is something to be said about doing well in the playoffs.

Exactly, and Peyton has wet the bed more often than not in the playoffs.
Oh yeah, 0-4 against his team's biggest rival in college.

Manning has a higher passer rating in the playoffs than Brady.

Passer rating is a dumb stat, it relies way too much on completion %. I mean Mark Sanchez is higher than both Manning and Brady ffs.

Joe Namath is right up there with Terry Bradshaw in the discussion of most undeserving HOFers ever. Namath probably takes the title as he is in solely because of one game, and more specifically his prediction preceding said game.

Eli is a lock, I can't think of any other 2x SB MVPs that didn't get in.

Eli will get in, but his merit aside from the two rings can be debated. He won't even be in the top 10 from his era in stats. There will be several guys at least with much better ratings and stats who don't get in.
Really amazing what those rings do to perception. Terry Bradshaw was a mediocre QB who had more career turnovers than touchdowns and had more career INTs than TDs in the postseason but is in the HOF. Tony Romo will very likely retire one day as the highest rated QB EVER and he isnt going to even sniff the HOF. Matt Rya and Matthew Stafford are going to both finish in the top 10 in every single passing category barring injury and neither will get in without a ring.

How the hell is Stabler not in there ?

Stabler had a better NFL career than Namath. I could easily argue that Stabler should be in and Namath perhaps should not be in.

Prob drank himself out of the HOF just like he drank himself out of the broadcast booth.

Kinda how I feel.
There are simply QB's that find a way to win. That's what separates them from the stat whores. QB's like Roger Staubach and Bradshaw and a lot of others -- they just figured out how to win. They were winners. They had a winning mindset.

Oh get the hell out of here with that. I'll give Peyton his due for being an all-time great QB and one of the top two of his era, but he's not in the running for greatest player ever.

Snake, Archie Who and the Ruston Rifle are all worthy, esp. Stabler.
If Archie and Bert had not had careers cut short by injury and/or had won at least some kind of championship or at least some playoff games - maybe.
Peyton, Brady and Brees are future locks, Eli has a great chance as he still has more years. Ditto Stafford.
