Probably not the most disgusting, but escargot was better than I thought it would be.

man one time i thought it would be a good idea to make some cheese fries so i made the french fries and instead of sprinkling shredded cheese or something on there i thought it would be a good idea to melt some velveeta on it so i sliced some velveeta put it in the oven and broiled it until the cheese melted took it out took one bite it was awful i guess velveeta isnt good for cheese fries unless you make it into some kind of sauce but on its own its horrible never again so please be warned its like what my father in law once said "a good idea on the surface, it will screw you over on purpose. a tool in the shed, a fool in the bed"

Chinese roasted duck when it cools to room temperature or cold.
It smells, the texture changes, and it has an awful aftertaste.
And canned asparagus...

Canned asparagus and canned beets need to be made illegal.

Also, I tried anchovies on a pizza once, to see what all the hate was about. Now I understand.

I tried anchovies when I was a kid due to a Mutant Turtle obsession.

I will eat just about anything. And there are very few things I've tried that were disgusting. I "don't like" peas, but I'll eat them if they're served. I can't stand picky eaters, so I go out of my way to be the opposite.
That said, I can come up with just 1 food that was absolutely awful. If it weren't so small, I wouldn't have finished it, but it was a one-bite thing. Smoked oysters from a can.
Now don't get me wrong, I like oysters. I like them raw just fine. I like smoked foods, and more than just barbecue. I don't normally have a problem with canned stuff. But all 3 together was just awful.

Indeed.
I opened a can of asparagus a few months back thinking "Hey, I can turn this into something". When I pulled back the top, I swear the entire kitchen reeked if something wretched. I couldn't dispose of it fast enough.
I can do fresh, but that was horrible.
