One major, often overlooked, flaw is that Saban wasn't mature enough to manage the egos of players who were on salary.
JH has that maturity. He has the respect and admiration of his players without acting like a POS.

DC often splits out of another thread to create a completely superfluous and totally unnecessary thread.

Saban is better at the collegiate level where he can get the players he wants. Harbaugh is probably better at working with the hand he is dealt.

why do Bama fans always invoke the word jelly into a conversation?

How am I wrong? John Harbaugh is one of only four coaches to win playoff games in his first five years in the NFL. He's beaten Tom Brady and Peyton Manning on the road in the playoffs. He has seven playoff wins with five of them being on the road. This year, he took a Ravens team that was riddled with injuries to the playoffs and is now one quarter away from playing for the Super Bowl. How is he not a better coach?

Harbaugh is the better collegiate coach. Harbaugh was too good for it though.

It took Jim only two years to get 49ers to the SB...what you got?

Oh, look. Another anti-Alabama hero for the SEC rant.
Just like Notre Dame.

This is like comparing appes to oranges. 95% of the teams Saban plays against has an athletic disadvantage. Harbough is coaching against teams that are athletically equal.
