Obviously not. Most fans don't watch a game of their team impartially. However, most teams don't go 19:51 and only get whistled for 2 fouls.

Don't bite. He's just trolling.

I'm too blind with rage to see any hooks right now. I'm biting at anything with a scent or a pulse.

No I'm not. Just because it's unusual doesn't make it biased. They played clean defense or no defense at all the second half.

It happens.

The reffing wasn't horrible. It was certainly tilted to UCLA.

Naw don't agree. And I'm not the one raging. If anyone needs to get over themselves it's some mizzou fans in this thread.

I'm not sure how. Either way, what's done is done. Nothing I bitch about will change the big fat fricking L on our schedule. I will be there next December to give UCLA a very rude and unpleasant welcome to Columbia. I won't forget this shite. For now, I'm either going to bed or getting hammered; I haven't decided yet.

Michigan was actually much worse home cooking.

I don't think they had 10 fouls called on them the entire game.

Eta: and Michigan plays much more physically than UCLA.

You got me?

We were getting called for fouls and what appeared be fouls on our end were not being called. End result was the same a L on our schedule. It would have been nice to beat Michigan two years in a row, but if we need the refs to help us do it, it wasn't going to happen that day.

You can not agree all you like. It just makes your supposed impartiality sound stupid.

I'm really surprised that the amount of homecooking in college basketball doesn't get more national attention.

I guess it's just because CBB isn't popular until March and most people don't see it during the regular season.

Conference play is the worst.

They didn't really foul though. You can't call fouls just to even out the team totals.

Just like in football, you could call holding penalty technically on about every play, it's the same in basketball. You could call a foul on about every possession, it's just a matter of what the refs want to see or not see.

A player being basically thrown to the floor and not calling a flagrant foul is a biased ref period.
They sure didn't have a problem letting UCLA play loose, but it wasn't a two way street.

Seriously. It is almost like CBB doesn't exist on Sports Center

I am tired of SC but there aren't any other highlight shows to watch. They need a show like CFB Live for bball tbh.

Was wondering the same thing. It's so apparent that it's hard to believe none of the talking heads discuss it.

The thing with this is, even if you contend that it wasn't a flagrant (which it was) or that Pressey exaggerated it (which he did), there is NO excuse for not at least taking a quick look at the monitor to review it. Very telling that the refs wouldn't even look at the monitor.

Well, that is part of the problem, I guess the average fan doesn't pay attention until conference play as that is bout the time when CFB bowl season is over unless they catch a game during the week or a game is played when you can watch both.

You can tell the average fan who doesn't follow closely because they will always be the first to bitch about a coach not being able to win on the road, if you don't coach for Duke, UNC, Kentucky Syracuse, Kansas, you know basketball schools, its fricking hard to win on the road due to the refs even over shitty teams.

He wasn't even close to being thrown to the floor. Presseys actions were so ridiculous on that play I wouldn't be surprised if his acting actually cost him the intentional foul.
