Can we please not talk about having the refs calling an even game until AFTER we play UCLA next year at home?

Yeah. There's a reason programs sign up for home-and-home series.

Sad thing is, if Phil had gone for 20/20 like everyone was hoping for instead of 19/19, we would have won

While that is great for Pressey, stats are trumped by the scoreboard

Meh. It's an impressive stat. Losing sucks but no reason to not at least be proud of Pressey's ball distribution. That's still a positive assist to turnover ratio for him.

The game will be called fairly in Columbia. I mean this isnt Lawrence, although it was almost Lawrence level bad in Westwood tonight.

Good point...I Jumbo that!

And, Jafo, I enjoyed your "triple axle" description both times. Very clever commentary.

I'll give props to UCLA though. They did kind of shut Pressey down alittle towards the end. Those backdoor passes got stuffed on a few posessions. UCLA couldn't seem to miss a jumper tonight either. They, played well.

I think they would have gave him the flagrant if he would have just landed that sucker! I'm just glad he wasn't injured. He's the only PG we got. Damn that Dixon!

It really doesn't matter now, it's over and done with and it's on to the next. I'm just trying to have some fun with it instead of be all uptight about it.

Thanks by the way.

Right you are, Belle. UCLA played their best game of the season tonight, just like Norfolk State did against us last March. I guess having teams "play up" is minor consolation.

He wasn't even close to being thrown to the floor. Presseys actions were so ridiculous on that play I wouldn't be surprised if his acting actually cost him the intentional foul.

Are you fricking serious? He was running quickly down the court and the guy hooked him. Go out to your local basketball court and let someone do that to you. See how it ends.

To be fair, when they showed the replay all 6 people in the room I was watching thought he embellished.

Still think it should have been a flagrant, but he did try to sell it pretty bad.

Very disappointed. Oriakhi behaved like a bitch all game, pouting and moping. He looks like he is 35 and has won a national championship, he should be the strongest leader. But he's not.

Pressey continues to slobbered on by fans, he is great, but he also plays irresponsible and stupid way too much. It's not just the negative side of a talented risk taker, he does too many stupid things to be this hyped.

I have to agree with this. Yeah I know you have to take the bad with the good, just wish he would play more under control at times. He giveth alot, but taketh away too much during crucial times in a game. Cutting down on his turnovers and shitty shot selections would help this team immensely.
