Texas A&M vs LSU will be a game that means something for BOTH teams going forward, either a SEC West and/or CCG/BCS
That's my favorite thing about you corndogs, you try so hard to downplay the fact you look forward to the Hogs game every year. It's ok, we all know the truth

I think USCe can get it done next year. The schedule sets up nicely for them and Spurrier is still a genius so I expect him to put together an amazing gameplan vs the West winner. However, if he doesn't get it done next year I'd put A&M up there.

I don't know man, We pretty much lose our LB corps from this year. Could be bad news.

Please list the last time beating Arkansas at the end of the year would have allowed LSU to jump Arky in the rankings*? I will hang up and listen.
*aka...Last time Arky was ranked higher than LSU entering the last game of the regular season.

Yep, I feel good about every position next year except LB.
We have 2 good QB's returning. (Dylan might be the only backup in the SEC that's beat a ranked team.)
I like 3 of our RB's, all have SEC experience,
We are returning our best 2 WR's, and the redshirts come off a few high potential guys.
We are without question STACKED at TE.
We are returning 4 of the 5 starting OL.
Overall, offense looks to improve.
We have 2 of the DL starters coming back, inc. Clowney, but we have 5 of 8 of the 2 Deep returning there as well.
LB, f**k, lost entire 2 Deep.
DB, we will be returning 3 of 5 starters and 7 of 10 of the 2 Deep.
Overall, defense will go as the LB play goes. If we get some guys who do well, we'll have another Top15 Defense.
Special Teams, we'll have our 2 best returners, "best" punter, but we'll have to replace our place kicker.
I like how Joe Robinson has improved the performance of Special Teams in just 1 season, I would expect us to get even better going forward.

Virginia Tech will win it first

there is never anything much on the table playing Arknasas.
i guess you forgot about the sugar bowl bid in '10. you know, the one where our defensive backfield layed eggs at the end of the first half and the one one that arkansas won only to be the first sec team to lose to ohio state in the bcs era. still, it was the pinnacle of bmfp's career. hard to see why arky fans idolize him so much.

Well, everyone has to replace something next year. Your DL should be able to mask the issues at LB somewhat at least.

None of the above.
LSU-Bama winner will be in the SECC for the next 10 years.

I'm biased but think A&M is the obvious choice. Tons of talent returning plus ridiculous recruiting classes to go with a Heisman winner who will only be a Sophomore and a HC that takes no prisoners. Maybe we win next year or maybe we don't but A&M is setting up to be in the conversation every year.
USC has the next best shot but they have a tough road. UGA and UF seem to only be getting stronger while USC seems to be staying the same. Very good talent and Spurrier is a great coach but if I had to pick a team to win the East next year USC would be my 3rd choice. Future recruiting is good but not crazy great like it needs to be.
Mizzou and Arkie may compete some day but they both are a long ways off right now. Need a ton of talent to get in the conversation.

So you're saying Bama wins the SEC for the next decade?

Yea, Shaw is starting, but I think Spurrier said Thompson would get some snaps as well.

Good lord only 13 more hours and i don't have to see threads about Arkansas winning something ever again
