Where does Johnny Football rank among SEC quarterbacks the last 20 years?

First and formost congrats to him winning the Heisman last night.
Looking at the quarterbacks from the last 20 years where do you put him right now?
I know it is a little early probably because he has yet to finish his freshman season but I was just curious.
Even though he has won the Heisman I don't think you can put him on the same level as the Manning brothers, Stafford, or Couch.
Just curious as to what the board's opinion is.

If he keeps this up, he'll be up there. You've seen those guys with a whole career. JF has only been at it for one year.

Manziel with this season has already put himself in the top 6-8 with 3 more years to solidify his legacy.
Tebow
Newton
Wuerffel
Peyton Manning
Are the only guys I would for sure put in front of him right now. Then it gets debatable.

Behind Manning, Weurrfel, Tebow, Newton.
Could be #1/2 on the list depending on next season.

Guy needs to win something other than an award before we anoint him God's gift to the SEC football universe.

Eh, unless he wins a title, I wouldn't put him above those 4, not even above Peyton.

He won during a fairly weak year for Heisman candidates. He's got time to build on what's he's done. To early to tell.

Are you a Florida fan? Rex Grossman was unstoppable in college.

True. Plus he had arguably the best offensive line in the country. I want to see how he does when it's not stellar.

He probably needs to win some kind of a title in order to pass those four that I listed, but guys like Couch, Stafford, and Eli didn't win shite either.

With his Heisman in hand, JFF will be judged on wins, not stats. How far he takes his team will be his ultimate legacy

Stafford has done better than any UF quarterback has ever done in the NFL.

What does this have to do with anything. If that was the litmus test, why start a thread about Johnny Manziel until he's played in the league for several years?

Which has nothing to do with Manziel, since he has shown to be a much better college QB than Stafford. Who said anything about the NFL? Let me go read your post again.

Agree except for maybe a 2nd Heisman. That has only been done once so that has to count for something.
