sumlin could go 0-12 and be safe. i dont think he has earned that distinction but he definitely has it

Miles could go 0-12 every season for the next 7 seasons and the sunshine pumpers would still love him. "We're only talented enough for our record, every loss is the players fault, Les Miles is Jesus."
That's funny, I was gonna say we could go 14-0 with an SEC and National Championship and people would still want Miles fired.
Go jump off your house.

Losses to UF, USCe, LSU, Clemson and UT or Tech should get Richt canned, but we would probably blame it on the defense rebuilding

If Sumlin were to go 0-12, it would be due to reasons outside of his control. With that said, I think 3-9 might get him pretty close.

I would say that if Richt went 6-6, the uproar might just drive him into retirement. I get the feeling that he will retire soon anyway

If Alabama went 0-12 and lost every game by 50, Saban could still lobby Bama in to the BCS title game.

Stoops is getting at least 3-4 years no matter the record.

6-6 would get the fan base grumbling again, but I doubt it'd drive him off. 5-7 or 4-8 would get the majority of the fan base hopping mad though. 3-9 would force McGarrity's hand.

It isn't too bad. Very rare that a coach has a higher buyout for leaving than the school does for firing him and that is the case here.
Hart probably wanted to make sure his replacement couldn't undo his damage.
