I've always enjoyed CSS. He's a funny SOB, if not a little weird. Its pretty funny when a mature coach starts talking shite. You're just an a-hole when you're as young as Lame Kitten but its funny as hell when a coach his age does it.

You only had to get up for two games all year. After one tough one (LSU) you lost to the Aggies.
In the meantime, LSU runs the gauntlet of SCe, Florida, Aggies, bye week, then Bama. I'm sure this seems equitable to you.

Did you also realize Bama was graced with 4 divisional home games while 13 other teams in the same conference were limited to only 3? Crazy coincidence right?

We ran the gauntlet of Georgia, @LSU, @Florida, Tennessee, then a bye week.

One team is not like the others.

Really just threw them in there to show where the bye week was.

Gotcha. Well a 3 week stretch with teams that wound up 32-4 is tough enough.

Looking back, the crying emoticon was probably unnecessary.

Nice.

Hmm. LSU probably should have worked harder during that bye week when Bama was dealing with the grinders.

He's going to mouth off about something--book it.

Secretly, the LSU fans are happy with the supposed inequity in the schedules. It reinforces their persecution complex.

Richt surprises me all the time. This should not have happened. I have seen firsthand and also witnessed on the sidelines how things said before a game on the college level do make a difference, sometimes a big difference.
One of the most vivid memories was when a top receiver once said he was the best in the conference and going against the opponent's defense was like "taking candy from a baby".
He went from hero to zero real quick when game day rolled around, and after the game his words were on the lips of every defensive player on the opposing team. This was the only team to shut him down and they completely shut him down. It was their rallying point, very clear to see. They turned his words against him and his team.
Big mistake. You don't see Saban allowing this sort of thing. In a battle, one of the keys to success is limiting communication that could hurt you and you'd think Georgia's "mentor" would know this important fact. Lack of control.

hey, Schedule talk again.
Does no one remember back before the season started? That there was no clear cut "leader" in the East?
Florida coming off a disappointing 7-6 season.
Georgia kicking off their RB, leaving them with a skeleton unit of True Freshmen.
South Carolina replacing some defensive talent and questions if Lattimore would come back healthy from his knee injury.
Tennessee with it's fully healthy group of WR's and an Elite QB.
I even saw some mentions of Missouri being a dark horse candidate, and James Franklin mentioned as a top 5 SEC QB before a single down. Missouri came into the league after winning 48 games in the previous 5 years.
This talk of easy schedule (and conspiracy!) comes off as whining while using hindsight as a club.
We should have known that those true freshmen RB's of UGA would be outstanding. That Florida's defense would get it together. That Tennessee's defense was even worse than anyone imagined. That Missouri was a complete trainwreck.
That Arkansas and Auburn would implode.
That this Freshman QB out in Texas was a mixture of Cam Newton and Doug Flutie.
Yes, please make it a 9 game conference schedule.
One of the best posts in this thread yet it goes ignored by the Bamasessed tin-foil-hat-wearing conspiracy theorist LSU fans that can't seem to accept reality.

“Alabama had the easiest schedule in the West division side, and Georgia had the easiest on our side,” Spurrier told The State newspaper of Columbia, S.C., on Monday.
Meanwhile, four of LSU's eight conference opponents had a combined record of 42-6. I'm not complaining, a team of our stature SHOULD be playing through a brutal schedule, and this year's was lighter than our 2011 schedule.

Spurrier points to schedules South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier couldn’t resist noting that the two teams in the SEC Championship game enjoyed favorable regular-season schedules. “Alabama had the easiest schedule in the West division side, and Georgia had the easiest on our side,” Spurrier told The State newspaper of Columbia, S.C., on Monday. “I find it very interesting, and I haven’t seen anybody really write about (it).
Thought it was only LSU fans that whined about scheduling?
Good seeing people calling out Bama and UGA....maybe something will be done.
Regardless, go ahead and win UGA and beat ND in the NC......we'll forget about the easy roads until next year.
