What is this supposed to mean? I haven't done any of this. What exactly am I missing out on?
Probably nothing, given you go by the name of "CockRocket".

I'm currently a student, so I have no problem using it...
EDIT: I find it funny some Bama fans are trying to justify themselves as "higher than some students and alum"...
Heck, if you didn't go to Bama for your school, just admit it...

This thread is nothing but a variation of about 1000 different threads I've read since visiting, commenting on, and generally enjoying this site.
About the topic: My oldest son is deaf and goes to a university (1000 miles away from home) that specializes in helping him achieve the highest possible academic standards in his gifted area of expertise. No SEC school comes close. He says "we" and post here regularly. My father, who served and died in Vietnam, was a huge Bama fan - though I don't remember him, I'm sure he said "we" at some point. My step father, who could not afford college, but worked three jobs (I still remember him having to sandpaper the calluses on his huge hands) for 20 years to put his kids and step-kids through school loves Alabama football and says "we" still today.
So, to even ask this question and/or to comment negatively about it, shows just how little you truly know about the world. This thread becomes nothing more than a stupid, ignorant, and hate-filled thread - just like the other 1000 stupid, ignorant, hate-filled threads I have read here on the same topic. All continued by pieces of slime who have nothing better to do than spew garbage and (attempt to) humiliate others so that they can feel better about themselves . . . or to get a from an audience of others just like them.
Administrators, please read through this crap and realize that this is the highest form of trolling/flaming that you are trying to contain. And please, please put these threads, once and for all, out of their misery.

I say "we" when talking to other Bama fans. But, usually just say Alabama/Bama otherwise.
FWIW Saban "always" mentions or includes the Bama fans when referring to the program getting to where we are now as a whole and the programs accomplishments.

I think alumni have a connection to the University that makes the football aspect more personal. I'm sure there are plenty of amazing and dedicated tshirt fans, but I'm not sure they care as much about the school the football team is supposed to represent.

I have two kids in school at Alabama and I am an alumnus so I say we when referring to the community - non sports.
However, since I've bought two chargers for football players I say they when referring to sports ...deniability in the event I'm questioned by undercover NtYielders.

I pay a lot of money in tuition, attend almost every home game, and have spent a good percentage of my life at the University of Alabama, so I will say "we".

at all the Bama fans in this thread.

Students and alumni are the only ones who can say we.

Who cares? It's the Rant. This place probably has more creepy losers than the guys outside of a Justin Bieber concert.

As long as you say "we" during the bad times as well as the good times.

Not to me.
I usually say LSU.
I usually say LSU.

Hell no it's not permissible. It makes your life shallow and empty, living vicariously through teenage kids. Oh wait, I just described 90% of Bama's fan base.

It's "we" if we win, and "they" if they lose.
Posted on 11/19/12 at 9:53 am to ags01
Yes, especially from a school that puts the 12th Man right out front. Saban says "everyone" has a part to play in the organization's success. "We" agree.

You seriously need to lighten up.
