Amen.

Everyone wants to talk about how we moved to the SEC to get out of the shadow of Texas, but it is OU that hoards the second tier of talent in the state of Texas that is our birthright.

The last thing I want is OU getting a way to fight back against that process. I want them locked in the Big 12 until they are no longer a top 10 program.

Yall got the "short end of the straw" in 2010 with bye weeks...but Saban bitched enough and the SEC made a new rule about it

You have to admit 6 teams out of 12 having bye weeks before they play you is pretty ridiculous. It'll keep LSU from putting up with it as well. I'ts all good. Bama will play the top East teams before long

Move Arkansas East and Tennessee West. Preserves Alabama/Tennessee, Florida/Georgia, leaves LSU/Texas A&M permanent and creates an Arkansas/Missouri permanent rivalry.

Exactly.

Which is why I hate the hypocrisy of Bama fans who think LSU fans are just "crying" or "scared" when we bring up the bullshite of scheduling this year and next year.

It would be one thing if it mattered...as a harder schedule usually helps you in the BCSCG hunt, but Alabama last year proved that you can play the shittiest schedule possible and still make it to the game.

Sounds like someone wants to stop playing UF annually.

Not me, and almost all LSU fans I know feel the same way. I love the Florida game.

Has this been discussed? Seems like i would allow for a lot of undying rivalries AU/UA TN/AL UGA/AU to remain intact

Alabama and Auburn to East

Vandy and Missouri to West

As much as it seems to imbalance the divisions, it does solve ALL scheduling problems and only has one minor (Tuscaloosa v. Nashville) geographic issue.

It simply makes sense.

The schedule could rotate all 3 non division games with no permanents.

Go back to the teams before expansion in the early 90's. Have everyone play each other.

therick711 frick that Georgia is playing scrubs. Unlike LSU, we actually don't mind having a harder division schedule and don't want to cake walk into Atlanta every year.

Kansas State
Texas Tech
TCU
Oklahoma State

EAST Conference

Florida

This proposal sounds very exciting. It's too bad this won't be realized in our lifetimes.
