I went to every home game, when I was in school at Bama(Graduated 94). I very rarely go to games now; Children playing sports this time of year, fishing is great this time of year, It's a 5 hour drive from Orange Beach to T-Town, etc.

Well, with the Alabama student section, they are using their seats, just not sitting in them.

I have a friend who is getting ready to make a huge donation to bypass the LSU waiting list. She wants LSU fans to stop getting priority points if their seats go unused or remain empty for more than half of the games.

I think they do something like that at Alabama but don't tell people. By in large, Alabama fans are pretty good about staying at games, but I think HDTV is changing that a bit.

You can go to the A-Day game. Those are free!

I've been to 10 or 12 on my life. All besides 1 were before I was 18. I dont enjoy going to the games. I like to be able to see what's going on. I'm the same way with the Titans. Family has season tickets (have had since they've been in Nashville) and I've been to only 3 or 4 Titans games. Watching at home is more enjoyable to me.

I wish this would happen.

I can't even count how many games I have been to in TS. But I am getting to the point now that I would rather just tailgate and watch the game on TV. Especially with CBS games. The constant commercial breaks make the game last forever. I like to be comfortable and be able to get up and use the restroom or fix a drink during commercials.

HDTV

Yep. The honest truth is I have more fun watching a game on my recliner or at a house party with booze than at the stadium where my legs can barely fit in the seat and Bubba behind me is screaming "throw the damn ball" or "watch the fake." Unless it is a huge game like LSU, the stadium experience is just not that fun after you have been to 40 or 50 of them.

I had a dinner party at another couple's house with 10 other people, so I did the polite thing. I talked with them from 7-8:30, and brought my laptop to watch the game. When the last second ticked off the clock, I put the laptop away and gave them the attention that they were due once the most important event was over.

My wife gets irritated, but she finally understands that if she wants to go places during a Bama game, this is what happens. My friends accept it.

I think everyone should do this at schools. It's not like people will give up their season tickets. And if they do, others who actually want them will go. It's ridiculous that willing people who want to go either have to cough up so much money or else just not go.

I don't go to many games when I don't live nearby. Usually try to make the big ones though. I love the crowd and the noise of the stadium, and the games remind me of my dad. That said, if I am going to tailgate, I'm going to the game. Otherwise, I'm happy on my couch.

Meeeee! (raises hand)

I went to every game through the Dubose, Fran, Shula years. Went to support the team.

And now I'm enjoying the Saban era.
