the same day Jimmy Haslam takes over as the Browns new owner, he doesn't hesitate to fire Mike Holmgren. now with a bloody trigger finger will he do the same with his favorite team? as most people know, it's his decision to make.

Not before testing the waters with Sonny Dykes for Tennessee.

a lot of rumors and MB fodder point to Dooley already being let go, or at least being given an ultimatum..."beat bama or your out."
you can tell he's almost to the point of tears in yesterday's press conference.

Should never have fired Fulmer.

Yeah rumors are flying. I doubt anything happens til December.

There's no doubt in my mind that we'd be a much better team right now, if Fulmer was still the coach.
but I'm not into arguing whether Fulmer should or should not have been let go. It's in the past and at this point has no bearing on our future.

This is stupid logic.
Just because the administration did a crappy job of replacing the outed coach does not mean they did the wrong thing with letting the previous one go.

we'd be a better team right now with Kiffin than we would be with Fulmer, but we'd be better off with Fulmer as opposed to Dooley.
Make sense?

Agreed.
1. Kiffin
2. Fulmer
3. Dooley

with Fulmer still there you still have Chavis. your team woudl be better, than if you kept Kiffin. The guy can't even get overrated USC anywhere. He isn't anything but a famous face.

I love Phil Fulmer but anyone who thinks he was on track to right the ship is living in fantasyland. Once Spurrier and Richt locked down his honeypots he couldn't keep up.

his team is ranked tenth in the country, still in control of their own destiny, and battling through a massive scholarship reduction.
you're an idiot.

If Kiffin stays at UT you guys would be facing the death penalty about now. Never seen a mofo who gave less of a shite about the rules than Monte Jr.
BTW, Fulmer is available.

Hasn't coached in college since 1991 and wasn't very good at developing young players in the NFL. What makes you think he'll be a good college coach?

This. People hate USC too much. People were probably saying the same things about Saban in 07 and 08.

Tennessee football the past few years has made me jaded so I'm not trying to get my hopes up, but there is a whole lotta smoke that this is happening.
