ok you're flaming.
No shite. Reap what you sew. Flaming is a pervasive in the Arky culture as is delusional and comical losses (yeah, yeah, I'm just real mad).

Thought you were better than that but guess you can't handle success.
It's the rant.
Maybe you should try handling failure.

May have been discussed, but is there still no Waffle House?
Consider it a travesty: no WH. We were forced to utilize a Dennys

There were several threads where you Ags told us about "off the beaten path" places, so wrong again.
Every university has a majority non-greek population dumbass
I probably asked 20+ people about the conference, that was how I formed my opinion. Admit it is a small sample size, but those were the results.
Interstate 45
For "worse than I thought" I was mostly referring to midnight yell
First, you need to read this.
quote:
A lot of what you said is true. The women are just ok here, with some hotties sprinkled in but the ratios are not that great. Northgate is a terribly overrated bar scene. The tailgating is middle of the road. And the food scene in college station is short of terrible but..yeah. That said, the most important thing a place can have is good people. You said people were kind to a fault. That may suck for football but for living here and going to school year round, its great. Its why I chose A&M and now A&M is shooting up in academic prestige as well. While you say some true things, you never once struck anyone here as anything but a douche. Im not bitter but a spade is a spade. You came off arse and seem to have acted like a tool not even worth slapping around. So there, take it or leave it.
Second, I can't stress how big of a tool you appear you be.

Good for you, to each his own

Not true, we were the rockstars of our section and Aggy couldn't stop talking and asking about Fayetteville, the SEC, the past, the trip down, etc. They loved us. We didn't walk around with middle fingers extended or anything like that

How did I know this would be a dickish review of CS.
The fact that you complained about being welcomed reaffirms what an a-hole you must be.

9. Aggy is very friendly, possibly to a fault. Easily the least intimidating venue I have ever been to. I'm not saying be nasty but they were annoying with the "howdy this" and "howdy that". It seemed very forced anyway

An Arky frat douche in C.S. didn't have a good time or find himself around attractive ladies. What a surprise.
I bet you're the tits at parties!
BTW...I find it entertaining that we have to meet a pig's expectations when most of the SEC hates you and still, STILL thinks you don't belong.

comical losses
like A&M/Ark last year?
Hilarious that one victory seems to have completely erased the past. Spoiler: You are not LSU or Bama, or even Auburn for that matter. You won this year, congrats, get in line with ULM. To beat your chest and act as if you're suddenly now a superior program (after 4 games with your new head coach and no quality wins) makes you look like a dumbshit.
That's the Rant.

So you ASKED 20 fans about the conference thing and you are now criticizing them for being positive about it?
Yes, we are happy to be in the best conference in the nation. I guess we should feel bad about it.
You do understand that there are plenty of SEC fans who have welcomed us to the conference, right? So yeah, we get that not everyone wanted the SEC to expand, but SEC fans have been both welcoming and firing off warnings about kicking our asses. We like the piss and vinegar in the conference. You being negative about that is almost as funny as you being upset that there were not enough guys dressed like you.
Its fine if you don't like A&M or College Station, but you really sound like someone who had fed into negative stereotypes and had a bad attitude going in. Good for you. But don't post here acting like you went in with a neutral attitude. I look forward to going to Fayetteville and plan to ignore all the comments I've heard from friends who think it is an absolute shite hole.

I meant on the rant.
And I could have stopped talking about Fayetteville.

But this is self-evident of your doucheness.
You're saying despite folks exhibiting genuinely friendly dispositions (rather than laughing at your pitiful squad), you still claim they're "batshit crazy," among other things.
Dude, you sound like a pissed off teenager doing his best to disguise his obvious passive aggressive dig at A&M.

Excuse me, hot chicks.
I remember that one group of cadets they showed that had batgirl square in the middle. My dog even flinched at the sight of her.

Let me sum up Aggy's response to my review:
This guy raised some true points about College Station, but he is a douche for actually saying them. It would've been much better if he just didn't have any opinions and didn't even visit
Look, I know each univ is different and I'm glad for it. Y'all are different and this thread is one man's opinion. If you don't like it, flame a bit and move on, but please just take it with a grain of salt that maybe just maybe someone came to CS and didn't fall in love. Doesn't mean I hated it or think y'all should change. To each their own and if you like it that's all that matters. Comparisons are easier to draw out the negatives, that's why I stressed I still had a good fun trip

Don't know if its been asked because I didn't read all the responses, but, first picture, guy in the bottom right corner, is he giving a blow job to someone?

Good original post. Looking forward to the LaQuinta College Station and some fine Mexican food in three weeks.

Our darkest secret revealed; being nice. Don't be fooled for one second by the friendliness of the 'howdys,' or by the countless people welcoming you and offering their assistance. It's really "forced." Everyone's in on it. Murderers, shoplifters, etc.-- a big Aggie rouse. We 'act' hospitable, but when you leave, we trip old ladies and kick puppies. Ha! Joke's on you visitors.

my buddy and his wife came over to watch the game yesterday. She's an A&M grad and cringed at the crowd shots and asked why they always showed the corp with their dates and not the Greeks. That probably doesn't help with perception.
