I think this Miss State team is legit

State has always been strong on the O-line and D-line. It seems to me like Mullen has finally assembled a talented group of skill players, including a pretty good quarterback.
I don't see them beating LSU or Bama, but based on the available evidence, I'm pretty sure they'll wind up third in the West.
Thoughts?

i think the QB is the key and yes, i see them as giving the west a run for the money and probably finishing third. i do not know about their depth and what impact an injury or two will have. of course, like all of us, if their QB goes down it's a different story. the team i saw against auburn is the best msu team i've ever seen that was not put together by sherril.

I think you're still state. I've seen Your QB under pressure and against a decent secondary. He threw 4-5 picks.

Because obviously Russell hasn't improved since last year in an offense suited for his talents.
