Its fundraising goal for 2012 was $103 million. More than $26 million was designated to support UA athletics and the Razorback Foundation.
In addition, the UA reported that 35 percent of the donations supported students and programs, 46 percent supported capital improvements, 12 percent supported faculty and staff and 7 percent supported other initiatives.
"In 2011, charitable giving rose by less than 1 percent nationally, reminding us that our country continues to face economic challenges," said Brad Choate, vice chancellor for university advancement, in a news release.
Arkansas continues to grow stronger both athletically and academically while the vast majority of the country is stagnant.

That is a lot of private donations for little ole Arkansas.
35% from corporations. And 46% going towards building all that new stuff that never seems to stop being built.

Lol. You don't know about growth until your endowment is tied directly to oil leases in west Texas. The fact of the matter is your school is playing catch up because it has been near the bottom for so many years. A&M could remain perfectly stagnant for a couple decades before Arkansas could catch up.
Thanks and Gig Em.
