Guard Travis Ruth has torn triceps tendon and Tackle Taylor Chappell has a torn ACL.

Ruth was barely hanging on to a starting spot. Chappell was 2nd/3rd team.

True FR Evan Boehm will likely replace Ruth in the starting lineup.

That sucks. T&P for Mizzou football. Tough break before season 1 even starts.

That sucks, always hate to see guys get hurt especially before even taking a snap in the season. Boehm was a pretty highly touted recruit IIRC. You can never have too much OL depth though.

Yeah that hurts. How far removed is Franklin from his shoulder surgery? Cause lord knows he's going to take some hits with a thin line.

That's bad news. It's hard to replace two O'linemen and have a cohesive unit. They really need to practice together as a unit to be very good.

I would hate to lose two offensive linemen from this years team.

It's worse then losing two defensive linemen.

The biggest thing you Mizzou fans will notice is how much better line play is here in the SEC. Your OL and DL is going to struggle a lot initially till your recruiting catches up.

Very sorry to hear this but I have to say we will probably need all the help we get. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for both of this young men.
