This was bound to happen when Bama refused to go to the East, like it or not they will have to move if the SEC expands again. If they do not J Long will make a package move with ND, FSU into the Big 12. Oh and you can forget having this game in Jerry's world will not happen.

Yeah ok you're 5 million behind UT in terms of revenue but you're also only like 5 million ahead of Louisville. So which is Arkansas closer to?

Meh... I think it's disingenuous to compare Arkansas' best streak in history with Tennessee's worst streak. Especially when you have no idea who your coach will be. Tennessee is a better coaching job with more potential, a richer history to fall back on, and the support of 6 million people to rally behind them.

Alabama's NFL performance in their lean years was horrible... and if this were 2006, you'd be trying to make the same argument against them.

Show me the Louisville revenue?

As I said Arkansas as the same money as Tennessee and talent base going forward as of today, right now. Missouri is the same with Kentucky but behind $30M and in a much worse recruiting location than Arkansas and Tennessee, Hence.. Kentucky.

Only thing Tennessee now has over Arkansas is better history otherwise the recruiting and money is the same.

Alabama put 46 players in the pro's from 2005 from the state. Louisiana put in 51 and Mississippi only put in 18. Georgia 61 and Florida 126.

Who would've known Arkansas and UGA turn the same revenue with Louisville not far behind.

When Jeff Long and John L are accpeting the SEC Championship trophy this year, they will take off their shirts to reveal Big 12 shirts underneath to announce Arky's departure from the SEC. It will turn college football upside down, like when Hulk Hogan joined the NWO. Arkansas will walk away from the SEC with title in hand and the SEC will never be the same.

who is wanting to move the game, I doubt Slive will care what other member schools want to do when it comes to the schedule, and are the schedules for 2013 even out yet?

If I was Jeff Long and the SEC took the Thanksgiving LSU game away from me I would start talking to the Big12 along with FSU. Arkansas has almost $100M Gross revenue, Top 10 Net, in the country and that carries significant weight in business.

I have no problem playing Missouri and welcome the idea but taking away our LSU Thanksgiving game and giving to the Aggies should start a fun fight, or at least I would. Business is fricking fun!

ABC would love if Arkansas and FSU joined the Big12 and cut into SEC country. You would then have 2 conferences that cut into each other across the entire southern part of the country. Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, MSU, Texas A&M and Missouri never get the ratings. Just as K-State, Kansas, Tech, Baylor and TCU wouldn't either.

This isn't 1992 Arkansas that was begging for the SEC money, ha. We are providing the SEC with a shite ton of money now. It sure would be fun for Jeff Long to throw his weight around in the boardroom. It would also be fun to leave TAMU and Missouri on the extreme fringe with hellish travel distances.

This is how you threaten to keep the LSU game. SEC wants to add Clemson go ahead that is a large loss in the pocket book, SEC Titles/National Championships and strengths another conference while watering down the SEC.

Being an AD of a school in Top 10 would be damn fun to negotiate with.

this. the definition of thinking outside the box. unlike 99% of hog fans. i kinda like. still proud to be in the SEC. but interesting point of view non the less...

You missed my point. You have no idea what Tennessee is like when they are firing on all cylinders. You should compare Arkansas and Tennessee up until 2005. Tennessee has far more ability to bounce back. And Tennessee has a shite ton more money than you think they do.

If you were so connected, you would actually know these things.

We'll send Missouri back to the Big 12 as Sting. They will change their colors to black and white and watch Arkansas games from the nosebleeds. This will go on for 2 years and culminate in Missouri beating Arkansas by knocking out your coach with said SEC Trophy you took when leaving the SEC while the refs aren't looking then........oh frick it i've lost my train of thought.

Have fun with those exciting games against kU, Kansas State, Iowa State, Texas Tech and Baylor every year. Enjoy the uneven revenue sharing while Texas orders you about from its throne. Enjoy the bowl sleights. Enjoy the threat of Texas and OU leaving every year, destabilizing the league every time. Enjoy road trips to West Virginia, Kansas and bumblefrick Texas.
