Petrino is better than Miles...only LSU fans would say different.

I can do it, too.

The fact is several people outside of LSU and Arkansas believe either is better than the other for certain reasons and personal criteria. My belief is Miles would not bet as successful as Petrino at Arkansas, and Petrino would not be as successful as Miles at LSU. I have my reasons for these beliefs but there's been enough shite thrown back and forth in this thread I think the walls are already covered.

Big difference b/w Petrino's record against Nutt and Miles' record against Nutt.

and here I thought they were pretty near identical

I understand Arky fans are pretty well crazy on the subject of HDN - but come on now.

Hootie deserved to get fired at Ole Miss for his last two years (after he got paid). But the team he took over was absolutely pathetic under Ed Orgeron.

Entering 2008 most people would have just laughed at you if you claimed Ole Miss would have a better record than LSU and Arkansas. The ones that didn't laugh would have nervously edged for the door

It's comical to watch the justification and stretch Armstrong-like reaches that Arkansas fans attempt in order make their program and coaches sound better. Especially when they try to say their coach and program is enter than another program that is actually winning championships. I'm convinced they are just trolling because it doesn't make any sense to think other wise.

If you were completely honest, you wouldn't group all Hog fans in that group. You are completely ignoring Hog fans who say Miles is one of the best. (And he is).

I like Petrino a lot and think he is an excellent coach too. I wouldn't 't trade him for another coach.

Reasonable people can think both Miles and Petrino are both top 5 coaches.

Mack Brown is a good coach but the premise of the article was going foward to build/run a program for the next five years, I almost excluded Saban because of age the reason I left Brown off

I think most MSU fans are very pleased with what he's done with the Spartans program.

He's done very well, IMO.
