Mack Brown is a good coach but the premise of the article was going foward to build/run a program for the next five years, I almost excluded Saban because of age the reason I left Brown off

I see Saban as being at the top of his game right now, even with his advanced years. Mack Brown, not so much ~ he's let that program fall off the last couple of years.

How about it the kid was from the Philadelphia suburbs only about an hours drive away from Rutgers, he left Penn State verbaled to Wisconsin when the guy that recruited him took the job at Pitt he signed with Rutgers only to have that coach take an NFL job the next day

I don't know anything about yankee teams. What's your take on the Rutgers program for this coming season?

I prolly do not know much more about Rutgers than you , however they were not the pro-typical big slow rust belt team like PSU, Schiano was the dc @ Miami before getting the gig and he recruited South Florida very well when he first got there. It seemed as if as the years transpired he Florida pipeline began to dry up, but they will be small, fast and black like WVU not slow white and Italian like PSU

No I don't,I'm not an idiot like you, nobody would put Stoops or Patterson over Meyer,Meyer has proven he can win in a tough conference,Stoops and Especially Patterson hasn't..

I don't know. It looked like Meyer had a nervous breakdown at Florida. I am not convinced he is the same calibre of coach that he was when FL won their last NC.

I guess I want to see how Meyer does before crowning him a top 10 coach.

What Patterson has done at TCU is very impressive. I can see him as top 10.

Stoops, he hides behind mediocre competition.

Fran is to thank for what Patterson has done...

And Meyer went undefeated at Utah,I still think he is better than both..he has the rings to back it too...

The fact is several people outside of LSU and Arkansas believe either is better than the other for certain reasons and personal criteria. My belief is Miles would not bet as successful as Petrino at Arkansas, and Petrino would not be as successful as Miles at LSU. I have my reasons for these beliefs but there's been enough shite thrown back and forth in this thread I think the walls are already covered.

Clearly this is a pissing match and not a shitting match. Moreover, don't waltz in here with your logical thinking. It is quite obvious that both Petrino and Miles cannot be elite coaches - one being elite automatically excludes the other. That's the logic this board functions on.

Apologies, let me try again.

Miles is a complete dumbass that is only successful because recruits want to play for LSU. Petrino is ten times the coach Les is. Miles should never do an interview again because I'm so tired of seeing him take out grass and JJ's cock from his mouth before he speaks.

That list is all kinds of fricked up.

Meyer should be #2.
Jimbo shouldn't be anywhere in the top 25.
Muschamp shouldn't be in the top 50.

What a joke of a list.

I think Meyer has lost his fastball. JMHO.

If the question was purely on past accomplishments, I would've in agreement. It will be fun to see how he does at tOSU.
