Chiz 23...
interesting that Mike Price found his destiny and is now at 124 out of 124.... Mike Price, UTEP
Oh, how the once-mighty have fallen. When he was hired back in 2004, Price was to UTEP what June Jones is to SMU these days. Heck, he’d led teams to the Rose Bowl, and was briefly given the reigns at Alabama before squandering that opportunity.

Charlie Weis @ 113 is still too high.
Former Alabama great Mike Price @ 124. Destiny is going to be pissed.

Blow off the NFL Network’s piece about the 10 Coaches Who Belonged In College, and forget about the horrendous way Petrino bolted from the Atlanta Falcons; he is making Arkansas into a superpower.

Trayvons in the fact that we already knew that. Not sure if the article is trayvons though.

70. Derek Dooley, Tennessee
It’s not working. He’s in a tough spot, and while there are several viable excuses, he simply isn’t getting the wins. To be fair, the Vols had some big injuries last year, and he was left a bit of a mess after Lane Kiffin skipped town for USC, but he hasn’t come up with anything special in his first two years. Can he get down and dirty enough to survive the brutal SEC recruiting wars? He’s a good guy and a straight arrow, but, sadly, those aren’t necessarily positives. Tennessee should be one of the nation’s premier programs, and it was a superpower among superpowers in the 1990s, but Dooley has gone 11-14 in

Chris Petersen (10)
Lane Kiffin (21)
Steve Spurrier (22)
Gene Chizik (23)
Gary Pinkel (27)
Dan Mullen (32)
Mike Leach (33)
Dana Holgorsen (35)
Paul Johnson (39)
Kirk Ferentz (40)
Bo Pelini (42)
Kevin Sumlin (43)
Mack Brown (46)
Frank Beamer (62)
James Franklin (65)
Jim Grobe (73)
Paul Rhoads (75)
Should be lower
Bobby Petrino (2)

Jimbo Fisher (14)
Charlie Strong (15)
Will Muschamp (25)
Kevin Wilson (48)
Joker Phillips (68)
Jim McElwain (69)
Derek Dooley (70)
Just a horrible job by CFN compiling their list. The only thing they basically got right was having Saban at #1.

I agree with about all of this, but Bo Pelini really shouldn't be any higher than 42. And Mack Brown (46) should be WAY higher. Sure, they've had two bad years, but look at the decade before that...

I'm about to get blasted by the pigs but in no way shape or form is Petrino the 2nd best coach in the nation. The notion itself is laughable.
