1. Georgia: 11-1 potential in my opinion for this team. Murray should have a great year as a 3rd year starter throwing to King, Brown, Malcolm Mitchell along with a solid running game.
2. South Carolina: Lattimore will be the workhorse, and Shaw has shown he can be a solid QB. Defense should be salty in the front seven with Clowney and crew.
3. Tennessee: An aerial assault with the gunslinger Tyler Bray. Maybe best tandem of receivers with Hunter and Rogers.
4. Florida: Still have tremendous athletes across the board, but Brissett/Driskell will have to prove themselves. And new playmakers will need to emerge with the departure of Demps and Rainey.
5. Mizzou: Should have a nice offensive attack. James Franklin has a promising future, and DGB looks to make a huge splash right away.
6. Vanderbilt: Can build on the bowl appearance of this past season.
7. Kentucky: Can build on the season-finale win over Tennessee.

If we're ranking who the best teams are then 1) SC 2) UGA, if you're ranking finish than yes 1) UGA 2) SC.

I'm still waiting on Bray to actually be good.

South Carolina is a better team than Georgia. It's too bad that they're going to play a much tougher schedule next year and will be screwed out of a SEC East Division title again.

If Tennessee isn't in the top 3, Dooley won't be back next year.

You forgot to mention OL, which is a huge question mark as it always seems to be. They were average last year, and that was with a possible first round pick in Glenn and a center who started forever. The rest of their OL basically was dumptrucked by LSU in the SECCG.
They are pretty stacked on the rest of the roster though, I will admit that. But unless they fix the OL, I actually would not be shocked if Tennessee wins this division. I just don't know who SCAR has at WR to replace Jeffrey.

Here are the only things that look clear now...
UGA and USC are the most complete teams in the east
UT and Mizzou will battle it out for the best offense
Kentucky will be by far the worst team in the division.
Florida will suck again unless they find a QB.
The SEC east will have 3 nasty defenses in UGA, UF and USC, who all return a lot and all ended in the top 10 in total defense last year.

I think the SEC East is a little underrated heading into 2012. And as of right now, barring anymore attrition or a killer injury at a thin position, I like how we finish next year.
UGA 11-1
USC 10-2
UT 9-3
UF 8-4
Vandy 7-5
Mizzou 6-6
Kentucky 4-8
