like that. we have that 360 tour on our website too but you can only look in a couple of rooms. not nearly as many as yours.

I wish they would get to work on the Hall of Fame though. That will be a great addition to the box.
Care to elaborate?
I remember them talking about building the new Box in phases and the addition of suites is the only thing that has been done since the initial construction.
Searching has come up with nothing.
ETA: They did add the right field home run bleachers, but that wasn't part of the initial plan so I doubt it was in any part of the "phases."

Lol at our max capacity of 8500. But I agree with the list

Yes the Hall of Fame was never scheduled for the first phase. At least i dont believe. That's why im curious if it will be the next project since the suites are finished.
Here is an old pdf link. See page 5 and 6 where it mentions the hall of fame. Initial plans were for 1900 square feet. I have no idea if that has changed or if they even plan on building a hall of fame now. It is suppose to be in the building along the 3rd base line.

This is BY FAR the most civil thread I've ever read on baseball stadium rankings

Thought the same thing a little bit ago.

We've been doing that since the 60's. Some schools don't allow it because you lose money initially. I think it worked out pretty well for State and Ole Miss.

Love Ole Miss's outfield. Best part of their stadium. LSU is way too corporate for that. It used to be no big deal because you could bring alcohol in but that went away with the new stadium.

I always figured whatever was inside the building on the 3rd base side was finished. I didn't see them as leaving it somewhat unused.
I'm not so sure about the phases anymore, or if they will just continue to add little things here and there.
I remember the outfield berm would be part of phase 2, and I don't think we will ever see a berm at the new box.

What is in there? I dont think anything but i could be wrong. I asked this question to Maineiri last season and his words were "as far as i know that is still a go and they are bidding it out now".
But he also seemed a little unsure of his comment. He told me to ask Herb Vincent to be sure. I emailed Herb but he never got back to me.

I don't have the slightest idea, and the windows are blacked out to be able to see inside.

Those 2 quotes tell me it is just collecting dust, which is depressing.

BTW i emailed Herb again 20 minutes or so ago when i thought of this topic. He just emailed me this reply back.

Yes, designs are in the works for the Hall of Fame at Alex Box Stadium. You will likely see work being done in the room during this season.

That's a relief, with all the new things being built on campus between academic and athletic I figured that would be on the back burner.
Not saying the other sports don't deserve new facilities, but they need to finish a project before moving onto another and quit breaking it down into phases.
Look where the phases have gone with Mike's Habitat. It has been over 5 years and nothing new has been done with it.
Hopefully it will be done when they create the North Stadium corridor deal.
I actually agree with breaking the Tiger Stadium enhancements down into Phases because of how long it would take to do at once and the impact it would create on gamedays.

Carolina stadium should be ahead of Texas.
Personally I'd put it above Box, but pretty much all LSU fans will disagree with me. And they have a right to. Very nice stadium. But we should DEFINITELY be above Texas.
Solid list though.

Yeah, I agree too. But I think he puts a lot of emphasis on # of suites.

Very impressive, I did not realize that Auburns was that highly regarded in comparison to the rest of the stadiums in the country.
