We used to take my old 1980 CJ7 and parked it on the hillside behind the right center field wall during AU baseball with cooler mounted to the bullbar... !

The best thing about Auburn's stadium is the parking deck. You have a great view of the game and can pretty much tailgate the entire time. Cops don't say anything as long as its in a cup. And its free.

Official College Baseball Stadium Review

Baum > New Box in my humble opinion. I was a little disappointed in the Box, I feel like LSU took some shortcuts building it. ETA: impressive post though

That's probably because you thought what everyone thought about the new Box in its first two years -WTF is up with the empty metal frameworking in the grandstand ??
Simple, it was the space for the box suites LSU just finished adding in the offseason, bring capcacity to over 12,000......

LSU just allocated their money elsewhere. They built the grandest (in my opinion) entrance and backstop in all of college baseball by a longshot. Correct me if im wrong but South Carolina doesnt even enter from home plate.

So they cut corners in the bleacher instead of chairback angle. I dont think they cut corners with the ads in the outfield. I believe that was always part of the plan just like it was at the old box.

How that got picked as a host site over Baum last year was an absolute joke.

Official College Baseball Stadium Review

Carolina stadium should be ahead of Texas.

Personally I'd put it above Box, but pretty much all LSU fans will disagree with me. And they have a right to. Very nice stadium. But we should DEFINITELY be above Texas.

Solid list though.

CNB are there plans to add more seats to Carolina Stadium?
Since your seating is at 6,400 and capacity is 9,500 - I would still put it behind Alex Box and maybe Arkansas & Ole Miss as well. LSU's capacity is 3,000 more than Carolina's and almost 4,000 more in seating.
Another thing that I like about Alex Box is the very open grandstand design which allows viewing from the entire concession areas, which I don't see at all in Carolina Stadium.

I would like to add to the "shared" stadiums. Furman and Clemson and I think South Carolina play games at Fluor Field in Greenville.

Fluor Field reminds me a lot of Baum in terms of their suite design/color choices.

Extend those puppies down the lines and add chairbacks to the foul pole and you've got a Baum lookalike.

Love this at Baum as well.

Taking a walk in the grand stand to view the game from many angles and being to able to wander all around the park while not missing any of the game is nice, and of course for snacks/food.

Yeah that is a good design for a college park. I usually spend most of my time standing up in the concourse at Baum.

I'm excited to see Baum after this next expansion.

Suites and club seating that wrap around the outfields and the new bridge entrance over the pond beyond center field.

I'm almost thinking it would be smarter to double stack your suites then to build them in the outfield. but maybe that wasnt feasible.

Fluor Field is a replica of Fenway the same way Trustmark is a mini-replica of Turner. I worked in an office building next to Fluor for a week one time.
