Quite the stir here in Texas for some. I was surprised to see LSU so far down the list...

I hate that Texas does this.

Mainly because I live in La and can't get an Ag plate and I'm bitter.

TBH, I've never noticed one in person though

Georgia allows other schools as long as they have a group willing to support the cause.

Lot of UGA fans get pissed that Florida doesn't return the privilege.

Can't you pretty much have any plate you want in Texas? (school or otherwise)

You can get a plate for pretty much anything in AL, but it goes through a petition process. You just have to get enough people to sign.

All I know is that Alabama's Auburn plates are atrocious.

That chart is wrong. LSU's plate was released before this year. I have had mine for a couple of years. Also I thought we had to have more than 1000 to get a plate released.

I think there are different versions of the LSU plate, I have seen a few here in Houston. Maybe they are only referring to one style in particular.

Those folks in San Antonio did this survey - there's not a major college for miles. INteresting they would choose that topic to report on, not sure how many people in that town would even give a shite about that story.

that's weird... i used to see LSU plates all the time but never any other SEC schools... granted, i was in east texas, which seems to have a pretty strong LSU following.

I have my Gator alumni Texas plate, and there are quite a few around Austin. I run into them in Westlake all the time. More Gator plates than anyone else (except TAMU of course) in the SEC in Austin.

out of the 102 "Georgia Tech University" plate holders (Nice frick-up on the school name there, Tejas), how many do you think show up in El Paso for the game?
