herbie's comments about the Sugar only picking teams to put asses in hotel rooms is the same logic he used to push the rematch ... it was about ratings for ESPN. just saying.

Not as bad as 2007. Mizzou beat Kansas by 2 scores the last week of the regular season. Mizzou finished 11-1, Kansas 11-1. Oh but wait, Mizzou got to play in the Big 12 championship game vs Oklahoma (who had beaten them earlier). If Mizzou won, they would play for the national title.
Well Oklahoma won, went to the Fiesta Bowl, and the Orange Bowl selected????? Kansas. A team that had beaten a bunch of 1-AA teams and 2 teams with a winning record all season long.

non-title BCS bowls are about maximizing revenue for the bowls. they're exhibition games

Hogs should've been allowed to play in that game. BCS blows
No way. You lost to OSU last year.

VT is playing Clemson again on ESPNU right now. Maybe they'll fare better tonight.

The Orange Bowl didn't have a choice. They have to take the ACC champion and they had the last pick and West Virginia was an automatic qualifier.

K State should be in that game in my opinion

Are you sure it's just not Clemson continuing to run the score up for the hell of it?

Michigan vs. Virginia Tech in the BCS at-large bowl is even worse than Bama getting into the MNC. This whole system is a complete farce.
I agree with this.
All the match-ups look ugly.

Oklahoma State-Stanford should be interested. Don't have much interest in watching the rest.

Sugar Bowl screwed up big time. How would embarrassed VT fans fill-up the dome more than excited to be in the BCS teams like: K St, Baylor, and Boise
Total fail. I'm from there and I'm embarrassed.

Va Tech. How can they not appear in an unwatchable BCS bowl. It's tradition like the Lions on Thanksgiving.

VT has the most delusional fanbase i've ever seen. They forget about losses incredibly fast. To them, last night never happened.
