It will depend on Harris and the computers. I think it will be close, but probably Bama will get in.

It didn't have to be 30 for certain. A few more Harris voters make up that gap. It's the shrouded-in-mystery computers that may cause a riot when all of this is over.

Yeah right, I have a really bad feeling the Harris will be the nail in the coffin for Alabama.

based on current computer projections (OSU 2 in 4 of 6), OSU must now pass Bama in Harris poll by 5 points to be #2 overall.

Yeah like "Patrick Stevens" who didn't even watch the games. I don't care if he was for OkState or Bama, this should be appalling to all CFB fans.

I agree. Clemson being ranked over UGA is a joke.

Someone explain this shite.
Projections are that OSU will be well ahead in the computers. Bama needed to pull about 75% of the #2 votes in the Harris and Coaches. Last week Bama pulled about 90-95% of those, so OSU needed to make inroads.

If the Coaches result is accurate, OSU needed < a 40 point margin. They got 8 points more than they needed. Margin was 32. If Harris is similar, Bama will play in the Sugar.

They went yall way last week cause OSU was 5th. They'll go OSU's way this week for beating a top 10 team and Bama sitting at home.

here is what happened since last night when guru and others felt okie st was looking good. the thought was bama would only be ahead on 1 of 6 computers and since high and low are thrown out okie would be consensus #2 in computers.

However it now appears and has been reported by a few that bama is ahead in 2 computers (sagarin, wolfe) That means okie needs 37% of the vote instead of 25%.

That is why lsumatt gave the following earlier and jerry plam just reported this coaches result as bad for okie st. if coaches poll bama lead 15 or less okie st looks good, 15-30 real close, over 30 bama looks good..

Hope that helps the folks who had not been aware of info that changed from early morning.

Osu doesn't have all the third place votes so that hurts them a little.

We have no idea how the Harris poll is gonna vote so this should be fun

My only 2 questions are: How can Stanford be ahead of Oregon and How can Virginia Tech be ahead of Clemson

I would assume bc Stanford only has one loss on the season, while Oregon has two losses. And Va Tech has two losses, while Clemson has three losses...
