Russia released a statement saying that Trump's comments are due to "emotional overstrain" so they basically said he's acting like a woman. I don't think Trump's ego will like that one.
This thread is Louisiana confirming its ranking as one of the dumbest states.

I finished Lightbringer last week and it was pretty good. I read the second trilogy back to back. It got pretty exhausting, like how much bad sh*t can keep happening to the same guy?

I know what you're talking about. That's one reason I like taking breaks between books in a series. I'm guessing it'll all work out in the end lol.

I've read them and listened to them on audiobooks. The last two are definitely the weakest, but I would agree with the person who said the last one is better than the 4th book. I didn't struggle to read them because I was reading during the show and back then I actually thought he was going to finish so I was excited to see where the story was going. So yea, frick GRRM lol.
I just finished Dark Age (Red Rising #5) and it may be one of my favorite books I've read in a while. I'm interested to see what happens in Light Bringer, but I may take a quick break and read something else before it so I can let it all soak in.
Good. If it was so easy to do, then why is only one team great at it? Nothing stopping everyone else from doing it too.

So almost every movie ever?

That also got me thinking, which actor has the best world building examples in their lead filmography? The #1 is probably Harrison Ford....Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Blade Runner is going to be hard to beat.

You didn't mention his Jack Ryan movies which should count as well.

Zoe Saldana at one point was the highest grossing actor of all time. Obviously, she isn't the lead actor in any of them, but still impressive. She's been in:

Star Trek
Avatar
Guardians of the Galaxy
Avengers (if we're counting that as different)
Pirates of the Carribean (only the first one though)

Don't know how I missed this thread. Man yall go through some books lol. I normally just have a goal to read one a month so my Goodreads goal is 12. I'm sure I'll have no problem reaching it this year. This is what I've read so far:

1. Heir to the Empire - Timothy Zahn (496 pg)
2. To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee (336 pg)
3. Master and Commander - Patrick O'brian (416 pg)
4. Mistborn: The Final Empire - Brandon Sanderson (721 pg)
5. Lonesome Dove - Larry McCurty (864 pg)
6. Dark Age (Red Rising #5) - Pierce Brown (800 pg)

Currently Reading

-Project Hail Mary - Andy Weir (496 pg)

I got the page numbers from Amazon Hardcover editions.
I tried it and it actually made mine fall out quicker lol. I just said the hell with it and shaved it off. It's alot easier to maintain now. I don't even think about it anymore. I would never do a transplant, but if they come out with a magic pill in the future to prevent baldness, I'd consider it.
This thread has me interested. I've never read any of his stuff before. Is this book related to anything else or could I just dive in?
I didn't get any yet today, but I got around 15 the last couple days. I haven't answered any but they are all coming from a 337-270-#### with the last 4 being different every time.

Which service do you use or prefer? Any advice?

I've seen things like Apollo, XtremeHD and CatchOn, but don't really know what to make of them or if they are reliable and I can watch what I want.

Apollo is the only one of those I tried, but it's pretty easy for a beginner. They even have their own app. Just make sure you aren't going to a fake website. They are very close to the original. Look up an article about it with a link there if you want to be certain. They offer a free trial which the fake ones usually don't do.

re: What are you reading?

I enjoyed reading The Martian recently so I decided to check this one out too. I don't usually do audiobooks because it's hard for me to concentrate and immerse into the story like that, but I'm giving this a try after hearing so many people say that the audiobook is a fun listen. I drive about 20-30 minutes to and from work and listen in my car. I find it's too hard to concentrate at home, but once I'm on autopilot in the car I can lock into the story pretty good. I'm only about 20% through, but I am enjoying it so far. I heard there's a movie coming out soon with Ryan Gosling.

Get her a Kindle for Mother’s Day/her birthday and let her pick out books that sound good to her. There’s an app called Libby that lets you “rent” books from local libraries and is a good way for her to have a list of books waiting to be read.

A lot of libraries, mine included, are moving away from Libby and going to Cloud Library, which isn't really that bad, but you can't read them on a Kindle. However, the wait times are a lot shorter.

I would also recommend a Kindle though and a Kindle Unlimited trial. There are not many books on there targeted towards men, but my wife loves all of those romance novels that they have. Maybe your wife will like them as well, but they also have a good selection if she's into other stuff.
It's not really what your thread is about, but Beetlejuice is barely in the movie at all. He only has 17 minutes of screen time and doesn't even show up for the first half hour.
I use the Oneblade as well. The number 5 is a little shorter than I'd like my beard to be, but it's close enough for convenience. I'm not the best at lining it up. I try to do a straight line a couple inches above my adam's apple and then as I get to the sides line it up at the same angle as the top line of my beard. It looks good enough for me and my wife doesn't complain.
