My dog was "accidentally" poisoned somehow with rat poison and we had to rush him to the LSU Vet center. They basically said they caught it early enough to save him if we want to pay for it. If not, they would just put him down. He was only 6 at the time and I couldn't just let him die so we paid about $5k all together on his medical bills and had to drop about half of it right then and there before they treated him. I'm glad we were in a position to do that and have since gotten pet insurance.

I don't mind parking and walking. I like seeing other people's tailgates and we're pretty much walking most of the time anyway so a little more isn't that bad.
