here are 2 possible suggestions or they could leave it the same, what do yall think.
1-each team starts at the 50 yard line instead of the 25.
2-how about half a quarter (7:30) on the clock, the lossing coin toss team kicks off to the winning coin toss team and then we play until the end of the clock with each team receiving 1 timeout added to whatever they had left at the end of regulation. If one teams takes up the entire time and scores then they kickoff and the other team would have one opportunity to go downfield and also score. If at the end of all this they are tied then the game ends in a tie. This puts the game on each facet of a team (special teams, defense, and offense). The coachs would also have to decide to go for FG, TD, and or 2 PT conversions to keep from a tie.
no matter what each setup has its flaws, there is no real good answer.

It's pretty good just as it is IMO. Much better than the NFL version.

I'd rather have the NFL overtime.

This. 100%
What I WOULD like to improve, is Bama's record in OT

sounds better to me and it will feel more like a real game.
out of conference should just end in a tie.

hell no, college OT is great. i wish the NFL would adopt a similar style, especially after mike smith's dip shittery lost us one last week

I'd rather do this. Or maybe even have them start from the 20 on the opposite end of the field and make it sudden death.

Im not a fan of the score first in the NFL.
I'm also not a fan of college football starting a team already in FG range.
They need to give each team the ball and their OWN 20 and then do it like they do with the scoring.

The college way is better because there will be a winner or a loser. THE NFL you could tie the game and where would that leave you?

I haven't kept up with him. Has he done anything else like that, or is that an outlier?

Keep it like it is except start at the 50.

I like how it's miss, and you're out.

he's always been aggressive and honestly i don't mind the call to go for it. what i do mind is handing the ball off to michael turner in a slow developing run play and not sneaking the QB. that's on mularkey for the shitty play call and smith for letting it happen. if you are gonna go for 4th in on your own 30 then you damn well have a better play called.

Start at the 50 and remove the requirement that you have to go for two in the third OT period.

I like the NFL version with ONE twist, each team is guaranteed an offensive series...
Team A-kicks a FG, Team B can win with a TD.. Game ends after 1 qt., just like in the NFL.
When I hate both teams, I used to pull for the tie.

I figured they were trying to draw the saints offsides and then would call TO and punt. surprised me when they snapped the ball and gave it to turner.
