Honestly, I'd like a rematch to once again beat bama. I'd love to see what excuses they'd have then. Be assured they would be coming, but they'd be different ones.

I thought you meant with Oregon.

Might happen.

No they wouldn't...we played the better game but we didn't take advantage of the oppertunities we had so you won...and rightfully so. The game only proved that LSU has a better kicker than Alabama. Thats it!!! We were in the position that the game should have never made it to overtime. We lead the majority of the game our offense was in the position to score (via fieldgoals) more than LSU. Thats not even debatable.

None of that matters now because LSU won! I can live with that but to suggest LSU beat Bama's arse (not you) but as some of the other LSU posters are doing is classic homerism! Yes LSU beat Bama on its homefield "So What". To great teams like Bama and LSU thats not even an issue. The visiting team has the best record in this series anyway.

Also, to all the lugnuts who are willing to bet their life savings that there will not be a rematch, good luck with that! I'm not saying there will be but you don't know, I don't know, no one else knows! Just as many idiots were saying that LSU would not make it to the BCS game with 2 loses in 2007 and look at how that turned out!

Personally, I hope there is a rematch so either Bama can get redemption or LSU can beat Bama and we Bama's can shut the fv@k up!

Maybe you LSU'ers grow some balls like my man here beejon and Welcome a rematch if by some chance it happens to come your way instead of being cheerleaders for Oregon and OU because you know you stand a better chance of beating them! LSU fans act like they weren't nervous as hell durning that game. I know i was and that was because we were playing a good team and anything can happen!! You people need to get a grip and let the chips fall as they may. Whoever we play is who we play and all this catbitching needs to stop. If we get LSU, great if not then, "Oh well...we had our chance". To everyone good luck for the rest of the season.

To LSU...stop being drawn into these woulda coulda shoulda arguments. YOU ARE IN THE DRIVERS SEAT!!! Be happy! Just beat whoever the hell is in front of you on the field and you're in good shape (Bama, OU, OU lite). Why does it matter to you if you are truely the best? Seriously, some of you do seem to be scared about getting Bama again.

Saban learned from his mistake. If there's a next time, he's vowed to just scored touchdowns so the kickers can't miss.

You barely won the first time. What makes you think you will do it again?

I'd hate to see LSU play Alabama again because we'd be banned from posting on TideFans forum again for a week or two.

Joking aside, I think that LSU and Alabama are the best 2 teams in the nation. But I'm more concerned about Ole Miss and Arky now than who may be waiting postseason.

Go back and look at the distances of the field goal attempts by both teams.LSU's were far closer so blindly I can say we could have scored touchdowns on those drives and won the game.Bama never threatened the LSU endzone aside from the Reid int.50 yard field goals are no reason for excuses why Bama lost.Should learn to punt in those situations.LSU's defense caused those 50 yard attempts.I guarantee that most on this board wouldn't want to put their season on the line with a 50 yard field goal. The odds aren't in the favor of the kicking team.Foster missed a 49 yarder last night and yet somehow Bama managed to win that game.Maybe some credit should be given to the LSU defense for keeping Bama out of the endzone and forcing long fg attempts instead of using excuses.

Bama was -17 yards in the red zone. That is not the kickers fault. That's our D hammering your great RB and OL.

Well, you lost the first time, at home. What makes you think you won't do it again?

LSU would win by 10 in the dome away from home.

1. A rematch isn't happening, period. Bama's only chance to sniff the BCSCG is Arky beating LSU and bama making it to Atlanta. Bama and LSU will not rematch period.

2. Why in hell would LSU want to rematch bama anyway??? Bama would not want to rematch LSU if the shoe was on the other foot. Lot of hypocrisy here.

I'm curious about this OP. My "excuse" is that we attempted and missed way too many field goals. We didn't make the plays we needed to make to win the game, and LSU did. I certainly felt like we played well enough in most aspects, and we could have won the game, is that a WRONG THOUGHT...?

Is there some kind of groveling or self-flagellation that you expect, and that will meet your expectations of what a "realistic" Bama fan should say...?

Apparently there isn't, because everytime the game is even discussed some LSU fan gets all in a tizzy.

Don't underestimate the power of Slive. Imagine the money the conference would bring in with two teams in the NC Game?

Good. That would indicate some level of creativity. OTOH, if I have to hear about the SEC office in Bham one more time...

Don't be, noone read that hot garbage. How about your team plays Oregon first before asking for a rematch.

You gumptards won't give up with this rematch shite. If the season was based upon moral victories, no doubt the gumps would be #1 with all the first place votes.
